Technically you are correct, but I honestly believe this does not register in Trump's mind. To Trump, it is about Trump, and only about Trump.

Can you imagine the disillusionment his dropping out would cause among the millions who voted for him? Anger and a sense of hopelessness would envelope a large segment of our population. Oh, wait, maybe they are already in that state of mind. What else would compel so many to vote for that clown?

what in God's name does this mean????

Depending on your point of view, it could mean ignorance of American politics, English second language or drugs. I haven't made up my mind yet.

There are a handful of Trump sycophants whose reactions I would love to witness.

there are far more women who will vote for Hillary just because she is a female than there are men who will vote for Trump because Hillary is a female.

I assume, although I'd gladly be corrected, that if Trump dropped out, which I don't think will happen, then wouldn't Pence be the nominee and he's appoint a new VP to join him on the ticket?

I think that would be the most likely scenario inside this unlikely scenario. Although I would have liked to be a fly on the wall during Trump's campaign meeting with Paul Manafort to see all what went on behind the scenes. I can hear the questions now, "Do you really want to be President?"

Would Donald Trump really drop out for $150 million? - POLITICO

There is a rising current among the GOP leadership that Trump may well drop out and contingency plans are being made to have a backup candidate. Do you think the bad hair day will drop out and if so who will replace him

This is a product of the MSM hoping for a new candidate that can't win. Trump has hit a rough patch. He has to learn to sense a set up and not blunder into it. They will be working on that and message discipline.

Sorry, MSM, you aren't running off America's candidate that easily!

LOL!!

As that article says, it's a fantasy.

Trump himself says it’s a ridiculous proposition and that he’s not a fan of the question.

"This story is a total fabrication from you and POLITICO, as usual,” the New York billionaire said in an email sent by his campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski. “I will never leave the race, nobody has enough money to pay me to leave the race, and if they did, it would be totally illegal anyway. Did Obama and the Clintons get you to write this garbage?"
