Is anyone else getting bored with the election news?

Is anyone else bored with all of the election coverage?

it is July, and we are already getting bored/sick of all the political meandering on both sides

and the truly sick part is....they havent even begun to target each other yet.....not really

i cant imagine the mud slinging and crap going across the air in the next few months

by September i will want to gouge my eyes out

i thought the last few election cycles were as bad as things could get

wow...was i wrong...

would love to be a hermit and head for the hills for a few months, but bills have to be paid, and people rely on me

this is really gonna suck!!!

Just so tired of all the idiot "experts" who babble on and on with absolutely
no clue what they are talking about. It's really stunning at the lack of knowledge
and common sense they have.

It's going to be a long general election season.

Yeah, this is where I'm at.

I get what Dion's saying. Do you want this dangerous imbecile, or this scummy empty suit? Ugh... Whatever. It's so depressing and ridiculous, and so totally divorced from any substantive discussion of the issues, that a big part of me just can't muster the will to care.

But I'm also with you here. It's so ****ed up that I feel like I need to stay aware of what's going on.

On one hand I feel like I'm just futilely punishing myself every time I open an article about it, and on the other I feel sort of guilty if I just try to check out of it.

It is more than just the candidates lacking.

Even in the last several elections almost daily some nuance would unfold where I would leaner more on each candidate or even something funny.

This time around it is all out there and anything else is just media ramping up ratings and each of them repeating themselves or reacting to each other.

So boring when conventions just whine and or manufacture BS about their opposition.

Yawn --- yea I am bored with both of them and usually i am glued to political news and a junkie.

I'm bored because I don't support anyone and really am not invested in who wins. We're screwed regardless, although one is a worst case scenario, so what difference does it make?

Interested because I feel obligated to be in the know, but I am not excited about it. This is a pretty ****ty election.

Yeah. I'd be more interested if I had a dog in the fight, or even really cared about the outcome.

I almost never watch TV anymore but I had MSNBC on yesterday as I was waiting for the Trumps, I was shocked at how bad that team was covering the convention. They were spreading the inane babble of their employees and guests while barely even broadcasting the speakers on the stage.

I have listened to the candidates on the issues and looked into their past. I am supporting Hilary yet in general I am bored with the election news now as I know where they each stand and what to expect.

I am usually not like this and I am usually hanging on every component of election news.

Is anyone else bored with all of them?

Aside breaking nes that intrudes, I really don't care. This election isn't for me.

Other: Horrified, ashamed, embarrassed, and increasingly scared for the future of our experiment.

Fear and Loathing, squared.
