When do YOU draw lines in the sand?

When do you draw lines in the sand?

now i get it
you DO draw lines
only you prefer a different metaphor to describe them

Actually, not drawing lines, just a statement of principle. You should get some principles sometime. Only problem is, you would have to live up to them.

I think we have the exchange of the day in the "looking for a fight" department.

Not looking for a fight, just stating a truth. If you are as liberal as your comment of course, you would not recognize a truth when presented to you.

If you're not looking for a fight, then why the unnecessary insult about "liberals

We are done here....I think all you want to do is fight, so find someone else.

Good bye

There is not enough information for me to know what the OP is talking about but I will say that to me drawing a line in the sand is the attempt to control the behaviour of another. I dont do that and I dont tolerate others doing that to me. My brother and I are currently not talking because he ordered me to not say again a word I had just used. I promptly said it again.

So when do you decide to draw lines in the sand?
I am thinking about DP but this can be in discussions with friends, family, coworkers, etc.

Does it take a lot for you to draw lines in the sand and if you want to expound on why that's good to.

Edit: Moral standing can be beliefs, etc. I meant to write that whole thing oops.

Im guessing you are talkign about politics since we are on DB so I voted other because none of that matters to me, When I don't like what someone says, When the opposing view threatens my moral standing. or If the view is presented by an opposing "camp".

Not liking what someone says doesn't matter to rights, nor does my morals nor does being in the opposing camp. Not to mention I have no opposing camp and I think that type of thinking is exactly whats wrong with our current political environment.

My lines are drawn in the sand when rights are directly infringed on and things violate the constitution. I draw lines in the sand when people are for no reason of their own are treated like lessers and discriminates against.

My main line in the sand is when somebody tells me what I believe or what my position is on an issue ........... and they cannot produce any evidence or proof to verify their claim. That is the straw that breaks the camels back for me.

If you want to take my position and pervert it and distort it and make it some frankenstein monster version of what I actually say and believe - then you deserve to get trapped in the corner and forced to find proof for you to get out of it since your own tactics put you there in the first place.

Usually if I am at a beach and I come across a long stick.

You do realize that you approached me and when confronted ran. That's what makes you a liberal.
