Why is there data for ALL countries? One would expect missing data given that at least one country isn't open for any kind of survey.

The most commonly used IQ test is the Wechsler (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wechsler_Adult_Intelligence_Scale), which includes verbal reasoning, semantic knowledge, and general information. Most of the other "big players" do as well (Stanford-Binet, WJ-IV, etc.) as does the Armed Forces Qualification Test (AFQT), which is commonly used by researchers.

That's not to say there aren't tests like you describe that eliminate the knowledge and verbal components, but those measure only a part of what most mainstream researchers in psychometrics think of as "intelligence."

IQ tests are designed NOT to measure academic knowledge. That said anyone not reasonably literate is at a big disadvantage.

There's a strong likelihood that the country of any OP generating stuff like this will have its IQ lowered alone by that very action. So the process is highly coincidental and thus completely random.

Had this thread been started by a European one could well assume that the level of intelligence reigning in Europe now shows serious deterioration.

I stumbled in by accident and my exit is now governed by finding the straightest path right out of it again.

I imagine if we were given an IQ test created by a Sub-Saharan African, we probably wouldn't do very well on it either.
