LOL. People regularly get attacked at Trump rallies, which is encouraged by Trump, and yet you place the blame on the supporters who weren't encouraged by Bernie getting attacked? LOL. Trump supporters live in an alternate universe.

As the social glue has weakened and America been coming apart this is the new normal, because there is no shared reality.

The Baby Boomer Coast Elite are the cause of the problem, they have been deviding the people of America for political gain for 20 years.

But it is all Trumps fault Natch. *sarcasm*

Last night there was pandemonium at a Donald Trump rally in Chicago. Fights broke out on the floor and big kudos going out to the Chicago Police Department for keeping things from getting worse. My question is who do you think will pay the price with voters? It was a Trump rally and the media has pretty much blamed him for creating at atmosphere of hostility by use of incendiary rhetoric. At the same time, it seems it was Sanders supporters who showed up at the Rally according to one report in greater numbers than Trump supporters at a venue rented by Trump, thus possibly constituting criminal trespassing by Sanders supporters. Ultimately, I wonder who will see negative fallout for voters considering a big primary election date is this Tuesday and probably too soon to conduction a scientific poll.

It depends on how many gunboats they can get out onto the lake. Honestly I think Trump Industries might have the edge here.

Democrats/Liberals should be ashamed of themselves. They are the ones promoting violence, lawlessness, anarchism and hysteria.

Many on the left are already unhinged so when you have them comparing Trump with Hitler, it fuels the flame for their supporters to commit crimes.

This behavior is indicative of Bernie Sanders' values. If Donald or one of his supporters gets seriously hurt by these thugs on the left, the blood will be on the hands of Sanders/Obama/Moveon.org.

Shameful.

Trump is the one urging followers to raise their right hand in salute.
Leaders of foreign nations are comparing Trump to Hitler. They're not "Sanders/Obama/Moveon.org".
Trump is the one blaming Sanders for the disruption at his rallies, with no evidence of course. Now, his followers, as usual, are taking up the meme that it's all the fault of the Sanders campaign, again with no evidence other than the words of their prophet.

How can people be so ovine as to follow Trump, the demagogue? Why is it that they can't see him for what he is?

Because they want chaos, and he's delivering it. What I only fully realized a month ago (me learn slow) is that the only thing Trump can do at this point to lose support among his current base is to behave with decorum and restraint.

That does seem to be the only way.

And Trump shows no indication at all that he intends to behave with decorum and restraint.

What is frightening is that he just might become president, than continue to act the way he has during the campaign.

You lie.

I don't believe he'll be president. Sufficient numbers of people are horrified by him that I believe they'll turn out just to make certain he doesn't make it into the White House. Those I have typically identified as lock-step partisan Conservatives in the past on this forum have even banded against him.

But the noisiest element always seems like the most important one, and Trump and his supporters are nothing if not loud.

Oh, sure, and calling Mexicans murderers and rapists, tweeting false and racist infographics about black people and demanding that Muslims be banned from the country and registered isn't fueling any flame whatsoever.

I hope you're right. I've said the same thing about Trump's chances of winning the election, but seeing his popularity in the primaries has shaken my faith in the US voters a bit.

Let's see if I have this straight: Trump runs his mouth about punching out protesters, Trump's rally turns to chaos, and it's all Bernie Sanders' fault.

Still working on that logic.

Trump is likely to be the easiest opponent to beat in the general election, and so Democrats are trying to disrupt his rallies.

Still working on that logic, too.

Give it about 100 more posts, and you'll see its all Obama's fault.

Oh, wait, Rubio already said that.

The worst elements of society have always been here. It just took Trump to distill the American population into a single, observable group. If presented with a button that, when pushed, would result in the complete annihilation of the human species, there are millions of people that would leap to push that button as quickly as they could for fear that the opportunity would remove itself. Trump supporters are those people, and they have always been among us. But they are not the majority of us.

I don't think they're the majority either, but we'll not know for sure until next November.

Looks like Hillary is the one suffering, Bernie Sanders now leads her in the polls officially as of this morning.
