I may not speak for my state but there are enough of us all across the country who won't vote for a dirty RINO and there are others who won't vote for Trump.

Cruz and Kasich are gaining ground here.
If I go GOP, I'll vote for who has the best chance to beat Trump, since we're WTA.
We do have some good down-ballot GOPs I want to vote for.

But listening to the Bernard bellyaching bravado, I sure don't want the Socialist to win IL .

Are most of those 45% who pay no federal income advocating higher federal income taxes? No they are not. Those who are advocating higher taxes while exploiting loopholes to pay less are hypocrites.

Yes they are. But on those they perceive as richer than they are. You have not heard not one of the "fair share" demands? Somehow the fact that the top 9% income earners pay over half the taxes while they pay none is not relevant.

Everybody exploits loopholes. The largest loopholes are having no income and having dependents. Third is probably mortgage deduction.,

Is Donald Trump a hypocrite for campaigning against outsourcing?

Yes
No

Shouldn't someone who campaigns against outsourcing have all of his clothing line made in the US? I say yes.The idea that he has to outsource is absurd considering the fact that just with google you can find a list of made in America clothing.

Other: It is not the only or necessarly the main reason he is a hypocrite.

You've never heard those who pay little or no taxes belittle those who contribute the vast majority of the income of the country?

Romney is free to pay whatever he wants. So is the unemployed food stamp taking disability getting non tax paying citizen. But to claim the 1% who pay millions why you pay little or nothing is hypocritical.

Can you provide some examples of people who don't pay taxes berating people who also don't pay taxes, please? That isn't the same thing as where I think you're going which is that people say the wealthy don't pay their fair share. That's something that is ignorant, but it isn't what we're talking about. That doesn't make them hypocrites. It makes them whiny assholes.

I guess to be fully accurate it should be added that just because any candidate says a bunch of things will happen, doesn't mean they will.

It seems to me, someone with experience with a subject like this would have a better understanding, and thereby, be in a better position to address the issue, that someone just bloviating from a podium.

Nope. Experience don't mean ****. Stock holders. Profit margins. Cheap wages. etc. etc. etc. That's all that matters. If you believe otherwise. Well, you're being naive.

So if someone has extensive experience in meeting those expectations, wouldn't that make them better able to understand what it would take to meet those expectation domestically? I think someone is being naïve, and it isn't me.

No.

$10,000-$15,000 to pay a computer programmer in overseas countries. Upward of $75,000 here. Companies like IBM use to have 300,000 employees HERE, now there's less then 100,000 here and over 300,000 overseas. It's simple numbers game, period.

I can see President Trump sitting down with Apple and telling them they need to move their manufacturing here, even if that means a huge cut into their profits and stock price. That'll work.

I really don't give a crap about his clothing line, however his propensity to hire from outside the US to construct and staff his hotels suggests that he does not practice what he preaches.

Wouldn't making his clothing line outside the US also suggest that he does not practice what he preaches? Because this is one of the things he rails against.

Those who want others to pay higher federal income taxes while paying little to no federal income tax themselves are hypocrites. But not every person in the 45% who don't pay federal income tax whine how the rich should pay more.

No.

Of course the answer is yes, not no.

I appreciate it's likely impossible for you to get past your feelings to consider how experience could be beneficial. Without experience, any pledges to do something about the issue are nothing but hot air.

There are candidates with zero experience making pledges about jobs that can only be viewed as hot air, as they lack any true wisdom with the task, and they lack any true experience to suggest they have a clue what to do about it.

You can invent narratives based on your feelings, but they don't erase this fundamental fact.

Profits.. Stock Holders.. Wall Street.

Experience doesn't mean a thing, and you know it.

You give the POTUS way too much credit to stop, or blame for outsourcing. The only way any president could make a difference would be basically starting a trade war, which would be a disaster for US.

Experience means everything, and you know it.

If someone has experience in dealing with revenue, stakeholders, and Wall Street, they certainly are positioned far better to develop initiatives that can address the jobs problems than someone with no experience who can offer little more than snake oil to the ignorant crowd.

This is fundamental, and can't be rationally dismissed.

Funny thing is with some of Trump's dealings he fits the snake oils salesman label better then anyone else, but I know because he has an (R) after his name you can't see that. 'BUILD A WALL'. LOL. And the Trumpbots will scream and yell YES!

It is like a reality show.

I'm sorry, but I thought we were having a rational exchange. It would appear you're not interested in such a thing.

Have a nice day.

He is advocating changing the laws to bring back those jobs.
If he was advocating that the change wouldn't apply to him, then yes he would be a hypocrite. As it is, it is not hypocrisy.
He bashed Nabisco and other companies for doing the same thing he is doing.
No he isn't.

They are not doing the same thing at all.

Moving your production line/business and leaving US citizens currently employed without employment is not what Trump is doing.

So Americans are making those Trump ties and other clothing in those factories in other countries?

Donald's snake oil consist of telling his supporters that he will slash the budget and increase the DoD budget. The savings will come from cutting fraud, waste, and abuse, but the numbers do not add up to balance Mr Trumps budget.

Since you're ignoring the OP, does that suggest you agree Trump is not a hypocrite regarding outsourcing?

So Americans are making those Trump ties and other clothing in those factories in other countries?
What is there about the differences between the situations that you do not understand?

Again.
They are not doing the same thing at all.

Moving your production line/business and leaving US citizens currently employed without employment is not what Trump is doing.

Trump is not picking up his production line/business and moving it to another country while leaving those US citizens who were employed without jobs.
That is what those other businesses are doing.

No.

If he was campaigning that companies, TODAY, shouldn't be outsourcing then I'd say yeah...he's being a hypocrite. Same if he was going around suggesting outsourcing was immoral and it needs to stop out of a moral necessity.

But he seems to be saying that the SYSTEM in place today makes outsourcing the best/only realistic option, and thus people do it. And he would change the SYSTEM, so that less of it occurs.

Basically, saying "outsourcing right now is a necessary evil, but evil none the less. I'm going to make America great again and outsourcing won't be necessary anymore, WALL WALL WALL" or something like that.

So it's not hypocritical, though it's likely a bit naïve.

Yes. Its literally clear as day.

Sorry to nag but you really should stop misusing 'literally'. And, if it's not too much trouble, put an apostrophe in 'it's'.

So he is a hypocrite for bashing outsourcing which screws Americans out of jobs while engaging in outsourcing for his products.
