After reading the lengthy article cited please comment regarding the possibility that one or more of the USA Presidential candidates may be using the techniques identified in the article or is being manipulated by a larger media force and perhaps an "unseen hand."

Do you see any candidate as a voluntary tool of manipulators?

The existence of "The Mighty Wurlitzer" isn't in evidence. It sounds like a false conspiracy theory. The machinations of the Democratic Party in making sure that Hillary is the nominee are pretty evident. The support of the mainstream media for Hillary is pretty plain. The efforts by the GOP to keep control of the nomination process are, too. Beyond that I see no evidence of manipulation.

A lot of the evidence that Trump is a PoS has not come out yet, and that does make one wonder. I suspect that the media is rooting for him to be the nominee so that Hillary will have an easier time.
 
The cited article is probably a twenty minute read, but insightful and detailed and the most broadly informative reading as regards manipulations of the Mass Media and the "whys" and "whuffos" related. It is a common sense expose of Mass Media and its' use to control macro thought direction of major populations. If our narratives are being controlled, then perhaps our elections are suspect, or not as clear as we would like to think. You will have to think about your answers carefully if you choose to participate in the poll. Thank you.
 
Trump is trolling everyone, especially his supporters. If he's the GOP nominee I can't wait for his Evangelicals and far right supporters heads to explode when Trump moves to the center on social and foreign policy issues during the general election.

IF I am correct and Trump does move center then we may see the GOP split apart, and the damage done maybe too much for the GOP to recover.

I percieve both Trump and Clinton as warmongers and ergo the candidates to be backed, outright or subliminally, by the War Machine. That would be the $700 billion Military/Industrial/Corporate Complex and its' many businesses and profiteers. Since Wars run on energy, petro products, then they would also be supported by Big Energy to maintain its' profit stream. Since Banks finance these wars, the Banks would also be big supporters of these candidates. No conspiracy in this answer except the conspiracy to profit and that is what USA business is about. "War is good business, and business is good."

The Church Committee documented 400 CIA assets in USA media in 1977 and the numbers have increased since. Conspiracy fact and you know that. It's your job.
 
When you reach the level of politics these candidates have, you find that ALL of them are both manipulators and being manipulated by the system described.

Only low-level political candidates filled with the idealism of inexperience can truly be considered free of this stigma...right up until they hire an experienced political campaign manager. :coffeepap:

I found the over-written and exaggerated. I parted company when it started talking about "the entire world's public" being controlled by one propaganda source. In reality there are a vast number, all limited in their success. In Britain not even the BBC entirely controls public opinion, however hard it tries.
 
I may not have made the poll options clear. Let's say Trump, unwilling tool, is sharp, but politically naive as regards bureaucracies i.e., CIA bureaucracy, State bureaucracy, Energy bureaucracy, etc, The bureaucracies realize that they continue "doing" unobstructed while a neophyte tries to figure what it is that they are "doing." Ergo, no change. Perhaps an existing bureaucracy wants a neophyte so as not to interrupt ongoing covert operations, classified or otherwise. These groups would support, behind the scenes, a Trump with no insider experience because he will allow continuation on "doing" while trying to figure out what "doing" is. Another candidate like Clinton, willing tool, insider politically active, knows what they are actually "doing" and supports this, ergo is supported. "A new broom sweeps clean," and these existing bureaucracies don't want to be swept clean. Sanders, unwilling tool, really looks like a clean broom and worst case scenario for the existing bureaucracies and as an insider can make real change, ergo the bureaucracies don't support him and perhaps work actively against him. This is what the Post relates to, whether it is controlled by Intelligence Agencies or worthless bureaucrats. Food for thought because the gov't is not one person, but millions, and lots of agendas.

Your anti Jewish paranoia is noted. It is also totally innaccurate. No conspiracy theories, other than the normal conspiring to profit from Capitalism/Corporatism is inferred. Mass Media manipulation by Intelligence Agencies and powerful Corporations is ongoing and well documented. The attempt here is to show when and how it is used in real world situations, and the Presidential campaign is an excellent show and tell for these manipulations. Hillary is a NEOCON warmonger, ergo she has the support of the MIC and any media strings they can pull. Trump makes war noises, ergo these same MIC media string pullers don't work against him. Sanders talks projects for citizens and the monies would have to come from MIC budgets, ergo the MIC media strings are pulled against him. I'm not going to draw you a picture because it is not that complicated. Repeat this scene for every large Industry and relate to vested interests behaviour and possible Media string pulling.
 
I'm happy to see there are some voters now. It just requires a little thought and the results are easily derived. We need more input to give this meaning and present a serious opinion. It is Debate Politics ergo opinions. To properly answer one must actually review Media activities and present an opinion if coverage is balanced or weighted and, if so, for what reasons. Fun. Should result if a more informed voter/reader/poster.

How 'bout that. Here we are eight months down the road and everyone agrees the Mainstream Media is in the tank for Hillary. Gosh, who'd a thunk it? Why is the Media in the tank for Hillarr? We've covered that. The Post has nothing to do with Conspiracy Theory, but media manipulation facts and the current campaigns have blossomed to show what manipulation is ongoing. What happened to Bernie Sanders? Was it Media Manipulation? No question about it. The Wikileaks release of Podesta emails have proven the media in the tank for Hillary. Face reality.

What happened to Bernie Sanders is that he knew he was destined to drop out. He knew that at a certain point, socialism becomes impossible. No, Hillary Clinton is militarism, not military. Bill Clinton's deception for this was his trip to Toledo, Ohio, Waite High School, which is the Hungarian Hot Dog deception: Klinger's restaurant, M.A.S.H., east side of town, not main population of Toledo. Bill was not allowed to speak at Devilbiss High School, and an example is Class of 1961 for Alice Cheney.
