While each poses a unique danger to the nation, BS is certain to wreck his damage. Clinton would be watched carefully, as people tend to know her deficiencies. She probably is the lesser danger candidate compared with the remaining Republicans as well.

They will vote for the one that looks most like Ronald Reagan.

Simple as ABC...

(Anyone But Clinton)

You paint a pretty bleak picture, there!

It seems bleak to the point of tragic comedy. The only hopeful note is that Clinton is known and therefore perhaps controllable. But having to remove her later by impeachment for things in her past would be a horror.

If someone were holding a gun to my head and forcing me to choose I'd pick Hillary. She has her problems but her agenda is more or less orthodox. And the advantage in being a huge liar is that no one believes any of the more extreme things she says she'll do. Hope springs eternal that she will be as pragmatic as her husband was (God, do I miss him.) but I fear she might be more like Obama -- unwilling to compromise on anything. Sanders is just bats*** crazy.

If you had to vote in the general election.

I would vote for Bernie for two reasons:

1. He is not a dishonest crook and we don't need one of those in the white house

2. Bernie is so far to the left he would have no chance in hell of getting any of his radical agenda approved

I'd put a bullet in my head before I'd vote for either.

Sanders, I would vote for Sanders if I was forced to pick between these 2. First of all he is honest, he thinks he will do the right think, and he actually seems to give a damn about the American people, granted the way he wants to achieve the well-being of everyone is in the most backwards way possible. On the other hand Hillary has a corporate hand up her puppet rear, she has had massive donations from a select few, compared to Bernie's overall small donations. So she is definitely a corporate puppet, she has been involved in conspiracy, she has backed up her adulterous husband Bill after he lied to Congress. She is a dirtbag, Sanders is way too far to the left, and we can have yet another 4 years of do nothing, which is better than another Woodrow Wilson-esk Tyranny

Neither are deserving of the office.

I would sit home on Nov. 8

I agree, NO way would I vote for either one....and 'none of the above' should've been a choice in this poll.

Wow, tough question

With a gun to my head Hillary.

Sanders would be a unmitigated disaster.

Any Republican who would vote for Sanders is suffering from Clinton Derangement Syndrome, the lesser known cousin of Bush Derangement Syndrome. Obviously I'd vote for Clinton over Sanders.

I don't think you're looking at the big picture. With Clinton as president, she would be able to get more accomplished on the liberal side whereas Bernie is so far left, he would get close to zero approved by a Republican Congress.

I would only vote for either in an Operation Chaos effort to damage the Democrats as much as possible.

You say that like it's a bad thing. I'd rather see neither of them ever get anything done because anything either of them will do is awful.

I'm going to have to agree with you. Even though I have a bad case of denial that we have become so weak as a nation that we actually need a bernie sanders.

Yep but since Bernie would get less done that makes him preferable to Hillary.

Ahm... ABC, ABS, ABT....O tempora o mores!
