A lot of people say that Bernie Sanders isn't very left. So between 1(very left) and 10(very right), where do you see Bernie Sanders?

I voted 4 because even though he "talks the talk" of the extreme left, he is also a sitting US Senator and took and oath. Unlike others, I feel Bernie took that oath seriously and will attempt and prefer to work within the system to make his changes.

In my mind a 1 (very left) is someone that does not have a job and is supported financially by someone else ( like Marx), is consumed, I mean CONSUMED by politics, and quite possibly deals a little dope on the side, in addition to using some.

In American circles, it's a 1. You haven't seen a candidate like this unless you took McGovern and had him split 50/50 with Eugene Debs.

He's a little bit to the left of Hillary Clinton and a long ways to the right of Fidel Castro.

I doubt that he'll be moving into the White House anytime soon.

So far Bernie Sanders is perceived very left.

It's a easy call. What he pretends to be and what he is are two different things.

Do you think he is a extremist?

he's far left on the American political spectrum, and a little left of center on the European scale.

Do you think he is a extremist?

I think he's a ideologue and a Sociallist. Extremist is a bit too subjective for me.

His agenda and initaives are extreme compared to what we're used to in the US and no doubt would do a incredible amount of damage but to the left I doubt he's a extremist.
