Each and every election year, there is a small but silly group that says they will leave the country if _____________ gets elected.

I just amuse myself with the " just like Hitler " comments they make, without actually cracking a book to see exactly what " just like Hitler " was really like.

Yes, hard to believe that so many think so little of America that they 1) show no respect for the will of the people in a democratic election and 2) think America is so weak that one president can destroy it.

To those people that would leave if Trump or Hillary or Cruz or Sander were elected, I say "See Ya!" Bye bye.jpg

Agreed. If a President is that bad to make you hate America so much that you want to leave, chances are that the sentiment is shared widely and will reflect the next election.

Will you emigrate to avoid the cluster**** that would ensure, out of embarrasment, etc? Or will try to ride out the storm?

No. I left when Obama became president...

No. I'm an American and it would take extraordinary circumstances for that to change.

You can be am American and live in another country...

#1. A big part of the problem is that our Congress has no respect for, and doesn't care about the will of the people

#2. Obama's done his best to change it to his liking...it's not destroyed, but heading in the wrong direction, and HRC is NOT the answer.

Whether or not I ever left the country would have nothing to do with who was elected president. If I had a great job offer in a country like Canada I might consider moving, would just depend.

Has anyone ever actually left the country because someone became president?

do you love it down there?

i have wanted to take a trip to New Caledonia which is out your way

Love it. This place is incredible. Lots are... but this is one of the best.

The potus is insignificant really, its scotus that would make
Me head for the hills. If obama gets another liberal activist on the bench, ill be out as soon as possible

I'm too lazy and comfortable, even in my relatively low-paying job, to leave.

I might be upset enough to actually contact my representatives for the first time though, depending on what Trump actually did.
