Ireland News - Bill O’Reilly promises to ‘flee’ to Ireland if Bernie Sanders becomes president

He thinks it is going to have an influence on how people vote, so I am asking the posters here:

Are you gonna change your vote? And (I cannot ask this because I can only poll one question LOL) would Ireland want to have him live in their country LOL?

What makes him think that Ireland would have him? its very arrogant to oppose immigration so feverently and think one has a god given right to live where one wants.

Good, GTFO.

BTW, if Sanders is elected, Bill O'Reilly is going nowhere. He won't leave America because of it. He'll get better ratings and have more to bitch about, even if he ends up paying more in taxes he'll still be rich.

Still waiting for Rush Limbaugh to leave since 2012...

Actually it's something to be proud of. Countries in Europe have higher ratings in education, health, and quality of life. The only people who have something to fear from social democracy are the ultra wealthy. That's it really.

FDR, our third greatest president, would be considered a Sanders today.

They are also taxed to death, I know because I was born there, lived there and have relatives there.

I doubt that.

Sanders is pretty much the FDR of our time; there is no other president that parallels him nearly as well.

As for the tax burden, they definitely get what they pay for. A perhaps surprising number of people would actually prefer to pay higher taxes in exchange for happier, healthier, longer lives in a true representative democracy as opposed to a slowly encroaching police state effectively presided over by rich oligarchs which systemically skews just about everything that matters in their favour, from the legal to the electoral system.

He is the closest but I believe Sanders is even more Socialist in nature.

That comes down to the Voters to decide, and so far they, prefer a more watered down version than what the Europeans and Sanders suggests, the second they see the Bill they want little to do with the product. Run on a platform of raising peoples Taxes to the levels of the Europeans and see the result. sure many of those that do not pay a dime into the system will Love the idea those paying the Bill will say No.

I'm a former jim webb supporter and have planned on voting Dem in the general but only recently have I come around to more completely supporting Bernie. i'll vote for him in the primary for sure.

None of the above.

1. I would NEVER vote for Hillary.
2. I would NEVER vote for Trump.
3. I would ONLY vote for Bernie if Trump was the alternative.
4. There is a POSSIBILITY I would vote for Bernie if Cruz was the GOP runner. I am really not sure. Not a big Cruz fan either.
5. I would vote for Rubio over all of them.

Changing your mind to vote FOR Sanders ? God no. Unless your'e the victim of some acute head trauma I can't see why anyone would change their mind to vote for Sanders.

The more people who aren't current Sanders supporters HAVE to pay attention to him the less chance he has. If he winds the primary Americans who haven't payed any attention to him will be forced to acknowledge his crazy and divisive agenda.

Hilary Clinton?

...hmm...

No...probably not.

Countless people said they were moving to France if George W Bush got elected, I think Sean Penn was one of them. A lot of hot air on both sides.

I love Bill O'Reilly's solution to Bernie's proposed 52% marginal tax rate: quit your exceptionally high paying job and move to a country with a 52% marginal rate. Of course, the 52% tax rate in Ireland may not matter since he won't be earning an income. The ultimate FU to America, we can't tax Bill at 52%

Sorry, but if you have a conservative/republican candidate like Donald Trump and Cruz, your side really does not have much wiggle room to say with a straight face that the candidate from the other side is divisive and crazy. Especially seeing as Trump is about as divisive as can be.

I'd never vote for Bernie in a million years ... but as I promised by Communist buddy PowerRob that I would vote for him if he got the nomination, I'll do just that.

unlike Politicians, i'll stick to my promises ....and I won't worry too much, because Bernie is a politician and he won't be able to stick to his promises... his grand designs for a revolution will be crushed by the realities of a Constitutional Republic.

besides, if he doesn't get the nomination, I'll be voting 3rd party anyways.... so my vote, according to the designs of the 2 major parties, doesn't count anyways.

so either way, I won't be getting who I want into office...

I will vote for Bernie if Trump drops out. If it ends up Trump v Bernie I will do a full reevaluation and I might very well go with Bernie instead of Trump.

I did not vote, there was no place for me.

Actually I'm a Cruz supporter, not a Trump supporter

As far as I'm aware Cruz hasn't offered up anything remotely as asinine and destructive as Sanders has.

Sanders Plan to move " America forward "? Increase taxes, increase spending and increases Govt both in size and authority.

Comprehend what he actually said. Bernie Sanders himself isn't divisive and crazy. His ideas though, certainly are.

I comprehended what he said precisely. If someone's ideas are crazy and divisive, then so is the person. Bernie Sanders divides the nation due to his ideas which he thinks is crazy/divisive. What I said (quite correctly I add) that if you have people who have ideas and plans that are way more divisive and crazy than Bernie/Bernie's plans are, you are on very shaky ground. Like it says, people in glass houses.............

I'm probably going to vote for Trump

Can we send some of our left wing media to Ireland if he wins?

Sanders plans shouldn't be divisive.

Where is the option to not vote for him because I dislike his policies and think they will harm the country? Disliking him doesn't make me a Republican or a Trump supporter or anything like that.

If you are a hardworking American, then yes the plan Bernie is laying out is extremely divisive and crazy.

Middle Class America would be pillaged under a Sanders utopia.
