So are you saying that the Qatari royal family is not an absolute monarchy? Are not Wahhabist? Did not create and and do not directly run Al Jazeera or all of the above?

You're adding words you think are scary again. It's not working. I'm not shaking in my bunny slippers.

I meant owned by a non-Muslim Qatati

Quite a few of those are not based in Qatar or owned by Muslims. What you meant is irrelevant to what you asked. Learn to debate. It might save you the trouble of moving the goal posts later.

and based in Qatar which is zero because there is no such thing as a non-Muslim Qatari as non-Sunni Muslims can not be Qatari citizens and are relegated to temporary resident status.

Why would networks set up shop in Qatar? Is it some sort of major hub of intellectual influence like NYC or LA or London or Paris? Your request is silly. I think you should first get a degree in media studies, or for that matter work in media to understand why the overwhelming majority of 3rd world countries don't have networks running out of them much less, foreign owned ones.

All I'm saying is I think there's a political agenda behind their presence in America and I don't trust them.
Not unpatriotic. But one certainly should be cognizant of the blatant biases that state-owned media outlets like RT, Sputnik, and PressTV cultivate.

Incredibly, some folks here at DP regard these propaganda outlets as entirely above-board and legitimate.

I do agree with Nilly; it's hard to beat BBC/NPR, along with some in-depth C-Span once in a while.
...this...
I find C-Span to be agonizingly s l o o o w ...Maybe, it has to be that way .
IMO, all news reporting is slanted . to a degree ..NPR tries very hard to be fair, and I opine that they are more then even handed.
I 'd like to see more NPR types and fewer profit based news stations ..with their biases and tons of advertising I watch them on a seldom basis .

Meh...there is no real "news" anymore. The virtual death of network news coupled with the prevalence of cable and satellite programming has created an onslaught of 24-hr "news" channels competing for corporate dollars through advertisement and viewership. The new corporate media have now sold their souls along with their credibility to the almighty dollar. Even the damned Weather Channel has basically turned into an entertainment venue as millions tune in to see real-time devastation as Jim Cantore dances around coastal towns with a mike and in his extreme weather gear. I think I still remember a time when most media outlets at least feigned at objective reporting. The garbage being cranked out now is absurd. I challenge readers to name one television news outlet today that doesn't report with blatant bias and skewed political views. Okay, rant over. Carry on good people.

I find the BBC to be fairly even-handed in its reporting.

I agree that of the major news networks, BBC is probably the least biased in reporting. However, the commercialization and "entertainment factor" is still there. I do find myself tuning in to BBC for news more than any other these days. Thanks for the response.

When living overseas I watched the international version of Al Jazeera and occasionally the Arabic version to keep up with my language skills. I found both to be good. I am not fmailiar with the American version. BBC is still my preferred one. US news media is a bit too infotainment for my tastes.

Oh you mean words that are completely accurate. Spare me your laughable horse****.

Lol one of the sites you mentioned was based in the UAE so spare me more of your bull****, there are no non-Muslim Qatari owned media outlets because that disgusting Wahhabism absolute monarchy does not allow non-Muslims to become citizens in the first place, why do you support such a sick racist regime? Are you some sort of non-muslimphobic bigot?

Yes, Muslims own TV stations in Muslims countries. New networks from other countries don't. That's not as scary as you're trying to make it sound.

Ummm, you asked what non-Muslims owned networks were in Qatar. I showed you. You're now complaining that I showed you something you didn't know.
