I thought this could be an interesting topic for debate. Which of the 2016 presidential candidates do you believe has the best chance of getting the policies they support implemented if they were elected? So regardless of their chances of being elected, or whether you agree with your policies, who would have the easiest time of it when it came to actually making good on what they want to do?

Ive given it a break so im not totally FULLY familiar with all their agendas but my guess is Clinton and Christie. You didnt make it multiple choice so i voted other.

Carson, Rubio, and trump probably make up the bottom.

I can't answer because there's no indication of who controls Congress.

It is going to sound crazy, but hear me out.

Assuming that establishment Republicans get behind Cruz enough for him to beat out Trump for the Republican nod, *and* he somehow wins against Hillary, *and* the next 115th Congress looks like the 114th Congress in Republican holding... then Cruz gets his agenda through.

I do not think Trump can get the same accomplished assuming same conditions, and I have my doubts on even Rubio pulling it off in the same conditions.

I did not pick a Democrat at all because I see little opportunity for the 115th Congress to flip back to all Democrat controlled. I simply do not see enough seats in both chambers being contested enough in key districts. Perhaps some gains here and there, but I do not see the 114th Republican controlled Congress flipping to the 115th as Democrat controlled as quickly as the 109th Republican controlled Congress flipped entirely to an all Democrat controlled 110th Congress. I do not see that same momentum and key events to campaign on, like the unpopular Iraq War at the time of Bush 43's last 2 years in office.

I think it depends on who controls the house and senate verses who the president is.If liberals or mostly liberals control the house and senate then obviously a conservative president is not going to get most of his or her conservative agendas implemented. If conservatives or mostly conservatives control the house and senate then a liberal president is not going to get most of his or her agenda implemented. Nobody votes for a liberal congressman or senator thinking to themselves gee I sure he or she gives that conservative president everything he wants and nobody votes for a conservative congressman or senator thinking themselves gee I sure hope he or she gives Obama everything he wants.Anybody who thinks otherwise is a ****en moron or partisan hack.

Thought provoking question. I think it's pretty hard to answer since they all have easy things, tough things, and things that would involve their party controlling both houses of Congress to get through.

Hardest? Probably Bernie Sanders. Best chance? Probably Kasich.

Well, after what I've witnessed in the past almost 7yrs, all one needs is a "pen and a phone" and they can essentially do what ever they like.

Everyone on your poll but Trump and Sanders, and half of Cruz's...

They're all Establishment candidates with the exception of the above 2 1/2. And actually when we get down to brass tacks, half of Trump's ideas will get the go ahead once they've been run through a polish...

Whichever one has a pen and a phone since that's all you need nowadays.

With our do nothing Congress, probably none of them. I do think Rubio could get some of his immigration ideas through especially if the Dems pick up the Senate which they look like they may.

Why would Hillary be any different than Obama? If she is elected she would run into the same headwinds as Obama has, getting very little done. Since the Republicans will still have a super majority in the House and a smaller majority in the Senate than they do now, some form of moderate Republican would get more done than Hillary or anyone else. Even a far right extremist Republican president would actually be able to get more done than Hillary. That's the answer to the question. Now you can still argue about what policies of either side you like or don't like but that's for a different thread.
