The main point was already made in post #3.Hindus don't celebrate Christmas just like the similar thread that Muslims don't celebrate Christmas. So it is pointless. So it pointless making changes for a group of people who are not going to celebrate another religion's holiday. However integration implies its the group doing the integrating is the one making the changes, not the society they are moving into. The same point could be made asking Jews in Israel if they would have pork on their Jewish Holidays to help Christians integrate or should Muslims in an Islamic have alcohol in one their Muslims holidays to help non-Muslims integrate.

you mean like how when europeans came to america they "integrated" with the native american culture?

I voted "Moo" because this is yet another silly thread.

People in the various religions should have the right to celebrate whatever they want -- so long as they aren't throwing other people to their knees and cutting their heads off, or putting them in cages and burning them to death.

Besides, isn't Christmas one of the two big feasting days where turkey is the main attraction? Oops! Pardon my political-incorrectness! I meant to say "Holiday", not something that makes liberals' skin crawl, like icky "Christmas"!
