Turkeys downing of a Russian Bomber?

Turkeys downing of a Russian Bomber?

If the TurkMen are imported rebels, it's not OK, and that is who they are. There is no proof the plane was in Turkish airspace. There is no question that the missile struck the aircraft in Syrian airspace and that is simply the laws of phsyics relating to the time frames involved. 17 seconds. Identify, target intercept, acquisition, and lock on and then fire in 17 seconds. End of story. The TurkMen would be an invading army and they are. Check to see where the rebels in the TurkMen videos are from. What right does Turkey have to invade Syria? What right does the USA have to invade Syria?

We need to have all actors in this conflict unified against ISIS. That is a necessity for a stable resolution of this conflict.

Neither country is without fault. Turkey I believe had violated Greek airspace over 2,000 times last year without violent reaction. Russia did violate Turkish airspace as well. There should be an apology to the pilot's family not the Russian state.

Regardless we need unity, not pluralism in this conflict.

If the plane was in Turkey's airspace or the Russians bombed the Turkmen it was okay to shoot it down.

Should Turkey have used other means, such as escorting the AC out of Turkish airspace?

Learn what?!

You claimed that Greece has violated the Turkish airspace.
So, Turkery didn't shot any greek plane even that it violated it's airspace more than Russia.

If you still don't get it, let me know, I may draw it for a better understanding.

That Turkey and Greece violate each others airspace is something known, we are not surprised by it.

However, regarding the topic subject.
I doubt Turkey would have shot down the Russian plane if Russians wouldn't blow up those 500 oil trucks and refinery, few days before.

The action was prepared and very unprofessional, it was such an amateur move.
In 17 seconds, there were 10 warnings, Turkish planes taken in the air, and the shoting down of Russian jet. (if we consider it's true that Russian plane violated Turkish airspace)
There was ready a US TOW missile near crash site.
2 TV crews.
Allahu Ekber people shoting pilot while landing.

Turkey and Greece actually don't violate each other's airspace very often. And a TOW is an anti-tank missile, not anti-aircraft.

Brothers? You mean terrorists who have attempted to take over a sovereign country?

If the TurkMen are imported rebels, it's not OK, and that is who they

If by ´´imported" you mean ´´imported in the 11th century". They live there and have the right to impose anyone that seeks to govern them without their consent. If the TSK shot down the plane 50 miles within Syrian territory then i would still be all for it because the Russians are fighting to defend a regime that the Syrian people don´t want.

they defend their homes against your russians.haha

they have zero knowledge about anything they post

What gives the Assad regime soverignty?
Oh so the western establishment decides which countries have sovereignty? Oh right... by that logic anyone that does not accept US hegemony is a legitimate target?

Keep repeating your state department talking points... poor thing.

Greece did not warn turkey directly for months that they would shoot down anything in their airspace....turkey was also not bombing thing right next to their border....it's a huge difference

Turkey's air space has been violated 114 separate times so far this year but each instance was quickly resolved peacefully, the General Staff has said following Syria’s downing of a Turkish warplane for violating its airspace.

"We would have shot down 114 planes if every aircraft that violated a country's airspace were shot down without questioning," the General Staff said, according to daily Milliyet.

A majority of the violations were done by Greek aircraft, with Italian and Israeli aircraft also known to have violated Turkish air space this year. "Air space violations are incidents that happen almost every day, and are resolved in a matter of minutes within international law," the General Staff said in a statement.

Six airplanes violated Turkish airspace last week alone, the General Staff said, of which none were shot down and left Turkey's airspace after they were warned by Turkish personnel.

A violation of one to two kilometers is accepted as "natural" given the speed of aircraft, the statement said. This year's violations of Turkish airspace lasted between 20 seconds and nine minutes, which showed "airspace violations can be resolved by warning and interceptions," the statement said.
