I see this on the news all the time. Trump keeps polling near the top. The problem is...of all the republicans I know...I don't think I know any that ACTUALLY would vote for trump. Hell. My father even says he would vote for detested Hillary before trump. I think I would too.

So. Do you plan on voting for Trump?

No choice offered in the poll exactly fits my position so, since I might have to vote for Trump in the general election, I voted Yes..

I will not vote for Trump in the primary but I will not vote for Hillary (but will vote for whoever, possibly Trump, the GOP runs against her) in the general. As it stands now I will vote for Rubio in the (Texas GOP) primary but there may be a runoff (second) primary if nobody gets 50% of the vote. Hopefully folks will wake up and realize that Trump is very likely lose to Hiillary in a general election, in effect, turning a Trump national GOP primary victory into a Hillary victory in the general election.

Wouldn't vote for him in the primaries, but I'd vote for him over Clinton in the general.

No matter what... my vote is a vote against Hillary Clinton.

I am neither Democrat nor Republican. The idea that the country could decide to put those two up as final candidates for the Presidency is unbelievable. Then add BS and BC and you could think it had been scripted for a B movie comedy with a tragic end.

Trump is a terrible candidate period. Hell...the guy was a democrat and he isn't very smart.

Nope didn't vote for McCain in 2008 (I voted for Romney) and I won't vote for Trump in 2016 even if he gets the nomination, but that's a big if and won't happen anyway :)

Yeah. I'll vote for Trump. It's no contest if it comes down to him and Hillary.

I would sooner vote for a pro-life, Creationist theocrat over someone whose central platform is BURN IT TO THE GROUND!!!

Say whatever I think people wanna hear is Hillary's campaing. She stands for nothing but her own lust for power.

I agree, but I'd vote for someone who knows how to govern than someone who doesn't and who has chosen exactly zero governing skills. I can't believe it has to be said that knowing how to govern is an important skill set for a governing position.

Obama was wonderful candidate (politician) and was said to be very smart yet was (and still is) a mediocre, at best, president. The problem is that we know that the demorats are offering us Hillary (no hope for change) Clinton, that makes the POTUS choice boil down to Hillary or someone offered up by the republicants. I have stated that I prefer that Rubio be her opponent but I will never vote for Hillary.

I hate it when you change the question between the topic and the actual poll. Originally, it asked if I'd *WANT* to vote for Trump. No, I do not want to vote for Trump. I want a decent candidate actually worth voting for. There seem to be none such running in this election. Therefore, while I might grit my teeth and vote for Trump (or more likely, against whoever the Democrats put up), it isn't anything I'd want to do. It's done out of necessity, not desire.

I am a Democrat so my answer is definitely no. And yet, I can readily explain why Trump has such staying power and why he's polling near or at the top in ratings. If Trump were not in this political presidential campaign, I would not even bother to watch the Republican debates; the reasoning is when the Republicans are not desperately tearing Obama and Hillary down, they are so downright dull that they could easily put one to sleep. Trump is very funny, and Ben Carson is one oddball individual who blames the media for his most obvious sayings.LOL! Carson has yet to receive his first endorsement from a notable organization. Carson along with Trump make the other GOP jump through hoops. I must say I have been thoroughly delighted by Trump and his Republican antics in this presidential campaign process!

When, exactly, did Hillary "govern" in an executive capacity and what did she accomplish in that role? Trump has far more executive (decision making) experience than Hillary. You seem to equate being a public servant (government employee) in any capacity as "governing" as long as that person is a liberal.

Trump has precisely zero experience in political office. I would think after Ben Carson people wouldn't be so quick to believe that success in one area equals success everywhere else.

I'm neither Republican or Democrat. But if Hillary and Trump were the only ones on the ballot period. I'd vote Trump. Why? Because while Trump may be an asshole, he hasn't done anything that has put this country in danger afaik. Hillary has. And I certainly won't willingly give the codes to our nuclear arsenal to someone that has proven that they have put this country at risk.

Bold: You don't think corporations don't play politics?

Rest: This would apply to everyone of course. Right?

Yes, that would apply to everyone. Now you can unleash the cunning trap you set for me.

First of all, than you for pointing out Hillary's accomplishments in such detail. ;)

It is precisely bacause of people's experince with those in political office that Trump, Carson and Fiorna are leading others with that, all important, experience.

Perhaps Hillary can adopt the following as her official campaign song:

That's like having your accountant operate on you because your last doctor was an idiot.

I didn't click on your link because it was probably stupid.
