For men: if there was a male Pill that prevented pregnancy, would you take it?

Very true. I've never even actually used one. I tried once and the PIA factor was too much. To the original question, yea I would take them. My wife is currently on some kind of birth control where she has something inside her, don't really know the specifics but I'd take a pill so she wouldn't have to use that.

I have no clue what you guys are going on about as far as PITA. I have no issues, and can work it into pattern. I've put one one one handed while manually stimulating her with the other.

OK, I tried to be adult, but if you would prefer I spell it out for you, then I will.

A - N - A - L..... S - E - X with a woman.

ZERO chance of pregnancy. Lots of fun, and no "surgical" techniques required. Just a little playful spanking and lube.

(shaking my head....some just don't "get it", do they?)

To quote a friend of mine, "I ain't never heard of no ass babies."

If males don't want to sire offspring, the simplest and most effective method to use is that of a vasectomy. I wish all of life's problems were so easy to deal with....
My only problem with that is it's permanence.

And, possibly, side effects (I have not done any research on it, so not sure).

Once again there is the possibility of a male version of The Pill to prevent pregnancy.

Men, would you take it? For sake of discussion, it would be highly effective (but not perfect) and have few to no side effects.

Please take the time to explain your answers too, esp. if you write Other. I'm sure there are alot of angles to this discussion.

Maybe I even oversimplified the poll questions but I can't predict the reasons for Yes or No so I'm leaving that up to all you guys.

Women, do feel free to join the discussion.

I got a vasectomy and then got divorced. My ex wife stayed intact and had two more children that are in prison now.

Hell YES! What man wouldn't?

One actively trying to impregnate his female human significant other?

It never said a permanent sterilization... it is like taking the pill. Want to get pregnant then stop taking the man pill.

It seriously isn't that difficult to figure out...

Well yes, obviously.
But the poll question was : "For men: if there was a male Pill that prevented pregnancy, would you take it?"
And your response was: "Hell YES! What man wouldn't?"
My answer seemed reasonable in that context. Note the key word "actively". If you were actively trying, you wouldn't take said pill.

I didn't mean to sound snarky but it looks like I was a bit... my apologies. I agree with you...

Ok you need to step back and take your own green line advice on this one. There are plenty of women who quite enjoy anal. So yeah it sucks for some women, is blah for others while still others beg for it. You are *a* judge of how women see it, and even women here on this site have disagreed with you on the enjoyment factor for women.

They are full of it, literally, lol. Women's pleasure is all in their heads re: anal. And that's fine because alot of sex is about that. But it's not true that there are any pleasure receptors for women having sex that way unless stimulated elsewhere...physically or mentally.

And it's not my judgement, it's what I've read from multiple and varied sources. The idea disgusts me but I dont like to 'judge' on no information or make decisions on no info either. So I did research it. And that's what I found. I also dont judge people that like it. Men or women.

That's a judgement. Had you qualified it for some or many or along that line, then you wouldn't have that blanket statement that you have gotten onto others before in the past, hence your one sig line.

Additionally, I am not sure where you did your research, but there are plenty of nerves in the anal region, which is where we get our signals of pain and pleasure. Anal Sex Safety and Health Concerns how we interpret these signals can be very subjective. When I get hit hard on the arse outside the context of BDSM it hurts, but within that context it feels good. Same impact, different feelings.

She also said this:

"And many find it disgusting, which I personally do but that's up to each individual, man or woman to decide for themselves."

 Just pointing that out.

She contradicted herself, but I think ultimately she was making a non-absolute point, and you're kind of just grabbing some straws. You could of course, take the "literalist" route and say that she said an absolute before and therefore is wrong no ifs ands or buts, but that wouldn't be really analytical and empathetic on your part as a debater.

I qualified it in my 2nd post. And I am as disgusted with the continued conversation as when I did the research. I think the great majority of women and alot of men only do it to please others, not themselves (on the receiving end). As I also said before, that can be effective in how it's perceived as well.

I read plenty on the subject, to educate myself. That's what I ended up concluding. YMMV.
