Planned Parenthood cannot be trusted and should be run out of the country. They are not fit to provide any services of any kind in my view.

Do you kill bugs, spiders, use anti-bacterial products? How about hunting or fishing? Those are innocent lives relatively speaking as well. Heck even just eating meat snuffs out innocent lives.

Less lives are lost however in the long run according to all information we have by providing funding for PP because they offer tons more services than abortions that actually prevent unwanted pregnancies and therefore abortions in the first place.

See that qualifier in your first sentence, "unnecessary", that is a subjective qualifier. You see them as unnecessary, but the women having the abortions almost certainly view them as necessary for them.

Serial killers also see their next victim as "necessary" for them to continue their way of life also. There is NO condition under which anyone has the right to abort a human fetus. Not even to save the life of the mother. To make that decision requires playing God and it is not our right to do. Abortionists and those who support them live in a fog of false justification and lies. Murderers will be held accountable, if not in this life then certainly in the next whether you believe that or not.

Do you believe it is also wrong to kill someone in self defense? If not, then the statement that it is wrong to kill a fetus to save the mother is plain hypocritical because that should be in the hands of God as well.

As I understand it, contraceptive use and abortions have occurred throughout history.

Nothing you or anyone else says or does will stop them, and IMO it's far better that they're legal and performed in a medical environment by trained people.

Since it is actually the law that federal funding should not be used for abortions then I don't think any federal funds should go to planned parenthood at all, even if only a small fraction of the things they do is related to abortion. No shell games allowed. If they want federal funds then they should take abortion off the menu and then I would fully support federal tax dollars going to support the other 99% of the things they do. It's not right for them to take federal funds and then play the shell game with the money, knowing that some of that does go to abortion and would violate the law.

Most hospitals do not do elective abortions.

Most abortions in the USA are provided in freestanding clinics; in 2005, only 5% occurred in hospitals, down from 22% in 1980, and only 2% took place in physician's offices (NAF).
