    Negatively only because the end result is they take away from the dominant culture and give the money they take to their own messed up culture that caused them to immigrate here in the first place. Over 90% of the money made by illegals is sent back to Mexico.

    Most every one that I've ever met has been a hard worker, and it's impressive how hard they work, and how loyal they are to their family and their faith. In cases like that, I view them very positively.

    But I voted neutrally, because in the end, they are normal people, just like me. No better, no worse.

    Do we really have to fight the Mexican War again, too? We haven't even finished fighting over the cause of the Civil War, yet.

    With no other information, I can only be neutral. Are they legal or illegal? What are they like? What do they do? Without that knowledge, I can't make a determination.
    There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

    I think, Latin and wonder which Country. Spanish, Indian, la Raza, other? Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala? Worked with lots of Mexicans in Texas and liked them as individuals and workers. Hope they have jobs and a place to live, because in the Northern states, they have a bit more difficult time getting going because there are not many Latin friends to help them get started. I assume they're Catholic. If they appeat to be 30 or older, I assume they are sending money back to their home country and family. I know many are squirrelling money away dreaming of buying a ranch in Mexico/home country. If they are tattooed and flaunting bling, they're instantly on my crap list and that's probably my personal prejudice because I think the same of whites, blacks or others tattooed with bling.

    The solution is take steps to see that thier country can generate the jobs they need. They need to start fighting the corruption and criminal activity that's strangling their nations and start making them attractive to business, instead of scary. What most Latin American nations need is a social revolution against the culture of corruption that dominates most of them.
    Our nation has not always lived up to its ideals, yet those ideals have never ceased to guide us. They expose our flaws, and lead us to mend them. We are the beneficiaries of the work of the generations before us and it is each generation's responsibility to continue that work. - Laura Bush

    Positively. I live in Texas where we have a large hispanic community, and I find their culture to be awesome. They bring a lot to this country, we're lucky to have them here.

    Poll: How do you view Latino immigrants?
    I'm married to an Ecuadorian immigrant.

    I try to view her in silky, lacey unmentionables whenever possible.

    I voted "positively" in your poll.
    “Now it is not good for the Christian’s health to hustle the Aryan brown,
    For the Christian riles, and the Aryan smiles and he weareth the Christian down;
    And the end of the fight is a tombstone white with the name of the late deceased,
    And the epitaph drear: “A Fool lies here who tried to hustle the East.”
