Thus, gay Christians have infected minds, according to you.

I don't know anybody like that except for some posing as Christians.

As for magic, you have your own magical beliefs - that the universe suddenly appeared out of nothing as if it were a magician's trick, and that the first incredibly complex living cell suddenly appeared out of primordial swamp slime, etc.

Personally,

Last time I checked, it was the christians, not the atheists, claiming the universe was created by a cosmic magician.

As much as you'd like it to be, science =/= magic.

Its called "atheists," you are welcome.

Sorry, I hadn't realized I'd used up my typo quota for the week.

You would win the bet.

It definitely does not applies to Pagans. When I mention "religion" I speak of the religion that Albanians prescribe to, and those are: Muslim, Catholic, and Orthodox Christian.

So United Methodist doesn't count as a religion for you?

You would be hard pressed to find one in his country. What is a "united" Methodist, as opposed to a plain Methodist?

All religions do, in fact, teach at least one form of bigotry: that believers are somehow superior to nonbelievers.
Not all religions teach that its followers are superior to anyone else. Buddhism certainly doesn't.

Since when does the term "created" imply magic?

big·ot
ˈbiɡət/
noun
noun: bigot; plural noun: bigots

a person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions.

My experiences tell me yes, all people who strictly try to follow ancient religions are bigots. I'm curious of other peoples opinions on this.

Of course they are. One of the primary tenets of all religions is that theirs is the right one while all others are either in error or downright evil.

The Left have redefined the word bigot to mean anyone who has the audacity to tell them "No".

This member of the "Left" defines bigot as a person who hates/fears others for irrational reasons, often supported by fallacious notions of history. Yeah, some people who No are bigots but not all who say No are bigots as they have rational reasons for saying No.

Only the ones you can't tolerate, amirite?

Of course! The essential dialogue is
"I want what I want to be OK and 'normal' and you have to accept that."

Well...I accept YOU...but I disagree with what you choose to do. Mind you...feel free to do it...but no, I dont agree with you that it is ok or 'normal'.

"Auuuuuuuugh!!!! **** you! I hate you! You are an intolerant bigot! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"

No. It is a denomination ;) I'm a Presbyterian

I like to think that most people try to be good despite being religious.

You say there can be none that are 'right'? You know this how?

No, he says this:

"One of the primary tenets of all religions is that theirs is the right one while all others are either in error or downright evil."

What empirical evidence is to support the claim that your religion is right and the other religions are wrong "Logic" man?

Why do you care?

So to you RELIGION causes people to be bad?

“With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.”

Well, he's incorrect and your demand for empirical evidence (you previously wanted empirical evidence for Jesus) is disingenuous, unless you can first provide me with empirical evidence for these individuals from antiquity:

1. Hippocrates
2. Attila the Hun
3. Archimedes of Syracuse
4. Confucius
5. Hannibal

Very bigoted posting. While it is true that the last church that I belonged, the Unitarian Church, is staunchly pro equal rights for LGBT and has been for years they tend to be very bigoted toward those who believe that homosexual is a perversion and opposed to equal rights for LGBT. So, clearly that church was bigoted. But I suspect that you are one of those who sees everything that you believe to be tolerant and accepting while everyone who opposes your views is a bigot.

Do you really not comprehend the idea that criticism does not have to come from a place of hate? Are you only capable of criticizing something if you hate it?

This is something I've seen popping up a lot lately. There seems to be a trend on the right, conflating criticism and hatred.

LOL. That's a good one.

Nazis. Communism. Trail of tears. Slave trade. And that is just off the top of my head without looking up all the government encouraged massacres.

"All that is required for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothin."

That particular failing is not limited to the right in any way, shape or form. The left has, in fact, reduced it to an art.

Psychological Projection

Psychological projection is a theory in psychology in which humans defend themselves against unpleasant impulses by denying their existence in themselves, while attributing them to others. For example, a person who is rude may constantly accuse other people of being rude.

“With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.”

That's an interesting quote that bears no connection to observed reality whatsoever :)
