How many people are unwilling to tolerate the beliefs of the religious? Is that not bigoted? Seems like many secularists want to impose their beliefs, whether by law or by social pressure, upon the religious that they will not tolerate.

a person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions.

My experiences tell me yes, all people who strictly try to follow ancient religions are bigots. I'm curious of other peoples opinions on this.
Everyone's a bigot. I am bigoted against child molesters. So yes they are and so is everyone else.

    This question is pointless.

Great, now how do you define "intolerant?"

    That's the kicker.

Or it means you've got a bad definition of "bigot."

Self reflection and projection are hardly useless.

Not if I'd have worded my post correctly. I was trying to question people who believe their religious texts are literally true, and are to be followed as law, word for word. For example men who don't allow women rights because their faith forbids it.

Very often. But, if they have any common sense they know science is fallible, and thus at some point know they can be wrong. Religions are supposed to be infallible, which is actually where most intolerance stems from.

Well, I think we've established that "bigot" is a pretty empty word. Pretty much everyone and noone is a bigot. Some bigotry, such as bigotry against pedophiles, is even justified, we've established.
