As a person who doesn't really seem to follow the tenets of Christianity, I'm not sure you are the best person to answer the question.

you are welcome to that opinion but its meaningless
can you tell me what tenets i factually dont follow and then also why that impacts any of the facts i pointed out?

You are an enthusiastic advocate of many ideals which are inconsistent with Christianity, far too many to list here. You obviously don't believe, or follow the Word of God as given to Christians in the Bible. Not sure why you feel the need for this charade, other than following the lib play book.

Do you think they are?

No. It's almost logistically impossible for them to be.

Nearly 80% of America is Christian, including the vast majority of our politicians of any party, most liberals, and probably at least a very large minority of gay people (because let's not play around and pretend this isn't about conservative anti-gay people -- that's exactly who this is about).

Exactly who would be "discriminating" against them? Because as far as I can tell, they own absolutely everything.

Just because the extremist Evangelicals don't get to make America into a theocracy that oppresses people doesn't mean Christians are discriminated against. They're simply not allowed to be tyrants.

1.) what ideals if its that many your should be able to list a few
2.) again if its so obvious then please list the ways i don't do this, i fit right in at my church
3.) what charade, you keep making all these statements and cant back them up with anything factual lol
4.) wrong again, not a lib but im curious could you tell us what the lib playbook is and whats in it?

Christians are socially discriminated against

Laughter ensues.

You only experience such "discrimination" when you try to force your beliefs on others.

For the first time in thousands of years,,,,,the masses can push back.

What you're experiencing is a loss of collective power. You're experiencing equality and a level playing field.

You don't like it because you can no longer make up the rules as the game moves along.

Many would call that "justice".

Alright, I'll list two of the big ones. Same sex marriage and homosexuality in general, and abortion. Both are inconsistent with Christianity.

May I ask what denomination, if any, you are a member of? What type of church do you attend? Do your fellow church members know you support SSM and abortion on demand?

Regardless though, evangelicals or Christians that actually stand for something Biblical are persecuted socially.

Some Evangelicals/Christians want to socially persecute others, and thus they are treated appropriately for trying to do so.

Fanatics are rarely well tolerated outside their fringe group. They tend to assume the world revolves around them.

1.) again that doesnt answer
how do "i" not follow tenets like you claim
try again

2.) M.E.
3.) yes they all also support equal rights
4.) yes and the majority of them also support abortion rights and are politically pro-choice

No. It's actually quite insulting to Christians in other countries that are discriminated against when some Christians in the U.S. claim they are being persecuted against because of gay marriage being legalized or some other reason that holds no weight.

LMAO

as a Christian myself that answer is no of course not, the law protects me from that . . . if anything we have gotten away with more since we are the majority

not once in my lifetime have i ever been discriminated against because of my religion nor has my religious right and freedom ever been infringed on

Christians are socially discriminated against, Try being a younger Christian in today's generation. Everyone likes to dog and attack people who actually live out their faith. Evangelicals are a mocked and socially persecuted minority. One could argue the lawsuits where Christians were forced to cater to things against their beliefs (gay bakery/photo lawsuits) is also discrimination and intolerance.

So, it's not Christians that face derision, just people that are douchebags about it.

Of course there is, the force was through penalties, charges and potentially losing their businesses. Discrimination did take place, their religious beliefs as individuals was violated in the name of public accommodation or anti-discrimination or whatever.
There is no violation. Plenty of churches around where religious belief can be practiced.

That the two latter principles (bolded) are held societally higher than the delusional belief of being entitled to using one's business to null them, is a good thing.

To use one's business as a tool of discrimination against any group, simply based on its way of life (provided there is no ensuing illegality attached to it) is unlawful.

It precludes nobody from finding that particular way of life abhorrent, on whatever pretext.

Do you think they are?

I don't know about "in America" but they damn sure are hated, hounded and denigrated by about half the people in this forum.

not a lot of people are mocking them or attacking them for living out their faith, not unless their "living out their faith" means denouncing others, discriminating against people who are themselves living "out their faith or non-religious way of life".

And not being allowed to discriminate or being intolerant is not evidence of being discriminated against as some Christians claim.

Yeah, just try getting elected President if you're a Christian. Anyone can tell you there's simply no hope.

There's so much discrimination we can't even get a black man elected President..............oh wait!

Next thing yanno a woman might be elected president!

There is no racism, just Southern folk honoring their brave ancestors. *wipes tear*

You can't get elected unless you're Christian. You can very, very easily not be black and still get elected. Nice try though.

I cannot see much of an argument being put forth here to support that Christians are being discriminated against. Anyone?

And you don't think "Christians" haven't done this mocking and attacking on their own accorded? You don't think they haven't tried passing legislation under the law limiting other people's freedoms and liberties? Just who are trying to kid here?

Christians are being systematically prevented from discriminating against people. Verily, Martin Luther King would shed a tear.

It's getting better, but's its still a problem. Being an atheist or agnostic requires nuance, and most voting folk people don't get nuance. To many, not having religious belief (namely Christian belief) is akin to worshiping the Devil.

There is good news. The fastest growing belief system is... none of the above.

thats because the reality there arnet any that actually hold water

Six states still have laws banning atheists from holding public office, despite it being illegal to do so. THAT's discrimination.
