It also funny how many Conservatives on the national scene have flubbed their response and made them look guilty by skirting the truth. All they needed to do was denounce this a racist hate crime like Roof himself stated but no it was a "mystery", an "accident" or a time to make jokes about guns.

    Really. Seriously. This.

They would have still caught hell for doing so, but even a "no comment" would have been better.

If you had given a choice like "Roof was inspired by the radical right websites and FOX news" I would have voted for it.

Sure, but "inspired by" and "responsible for" are not the same thing.

Actual Nazis were/are right wing (extreme, though).

No overall political lean is responsible for this at all, however - the guy made his decisions and ended up where he is.

The problem may be that we ignore this kind of thing until it gets out of hand.

I read somewhere that his roommate knew he was planning something like this, but (I'm assuming) did nothing because he thought it was just insane ranting, or the like.

He was probably like "yeah, sure, whatever (walks away carefully)"

It depend on how sensitive you are. I doubt the authors of those racist sites he mentioned are going to lose any sleep over it if that is what you mean. They will keep writing their racist lies and preaching hate, no doubt.

    This is ridiculous.

The guy was clearly nuts...whacko...around the bend...looped.

Politics has nothing to do with this...insanity has everything to do with it.

    Getting the poll together.
I prefer to answer with words over polls, so here it is:

    1. Racism is evil.

    2. In the US, conservatism and racism have been very closely tied to each other since at least the mid-1850s.

    3. Draw your own conclusions from (1) and (2).
I fight against the ignorant, irresponsible, and/or closed-minded.
This group is the worst enemy of America and its freedoms. It includes, but is not limited to, all Trump supporters.

No doubt. "Inspired by" and "responsible for" can both be involved, generically speaking, but they're still different things. The two don't have to be wholly mutually exclusive.
