Wrong. It is the failure on a socio-economic front to bring balance that makes multi-culturalism fail when it fails... nothing to do with race itself.

Even if you accept that, taking it from them will only result in the land going fallow, and the inevitable food shortages and collapse of the economy as a result. One only has to look to Zimbabwe to see what would happen.
 
Well the EFF is a a fringe party only popular in a sparsely populated province. Cape Town (the seat of government) where the banner was shown is a city in a province where blacks are a small minority of the population just for context. The DA on the other hand which was lead by a white woman till May this year is the second largest party and making large gains, including running the province of the Western Cape to great success and are expected to take Gauteng (the largest province that contains Johannesburg) and the Northern Cape in the next election. There is still hope for responsible governance in South Africa.

I agree and was certainly not implying that land should be turned over, just that they ARE guilty. A system of shared ownership, or something, needs to occur where labour output increases is an incentive to employment and salary, or something socialist like that even though I am not socialist. The place is just so messed up that Capitalism will not work.

Yeah its a mess, but it also has more potential than just about any other African nation in the near term. If they could just get it together, they could be a prosperous nation.

Ian Smith should have had Mugabe and his cohorts "cleaned". what Mugabe did to Rhodesia was one of the worst crimes against humanity we have seen.

So liberty just for you then huh? You sound like a classic authoritarian. Discrimination is wrong and immoral regardless of who the victims are. The law should never treat you differently simply because of your race or sex.

Well, many of them do fight, or resist criminal targeting based on their race in other effective ways. But the demographics are against them. I am in no way saying that all non-Afrikaners in South Africa hate the Afrikaners -- that would be a gross, racist generalization. There are plenty of Mandelas about, too. But there are enough people in South Africa that hate the Afrikaners' history and legacy that no amount of rapprochement will do any good, and if it erupts into war...

Well, who knows what'll happen, but there sure are mighty few Afrikaners left around.
