Who do you feel the American public perceives to be more pro rich policy wise? Democrats or Republicans?

Both parties are pro-rich. Republicans are just a bit more honest about who owns them.

When you realize that modern politics all boils down to obtaining a vote by promising less contribution to the treasury in taxes, more spending from it, or some terrible combination of the two then you also realize that both Democrats and Republicans have their concentrations of wealth to appeal to.

All it takes is spending 10-20 minutes on OpenSecrets. You will find everything from rich individual donors like The Koch Brothers, Soros, Bloomberg, and Eychaner to organizations like the National Education Association, ActBlue, Fahr LLC, the Service Employees International Union, Koch Industries, and the NRA. Corporations like Comcast, Goldman Sachs, AT&T Inc, and Lockheed Martin are usually in the list as well. Hell, even good ole Bill Maher boasted about giving $1 million towards Obama's 2012 re-election campaign.

Republicans have their various avenues of money, and Democrats have their various avenues of money.

Perception from the media is Republicans are "pro-rich." And in many cases they have a strong argument when staying within the confines of their debate, but at the end of the day once you dig into the math of the 2014, or 2012, or 2010, or 2008 Elections you will find a plethora of cash making its way to politicians both left and right. We damn near touched $4 Billion for 2014, and that was without a Presidential Election. 2012 was over $6 billion. And understand we are not even counting so called "dark money" through all the 501c groups empowered by the Citizens United ruling.

We can argue all night about this money over here being not so bad, but that money over there is a problem. This is "pro-rich" over here, but over there it is pro worker. Whatever. It is all bull**** and the name of the election game is concentrations of wealth. People may not want to admit it, but the reality is neither of the two main political parties reject wealth. It all boils down to who's "pro-rich" lean wins, and who's "pro-rich" wealth calls the shots until the next election. Been that way for a very long time, and it would be foolish to suggest otherwise.

We've got one party giving freebies to the wealthy & their corporations, and the other party giving freebies to the poor & those that play the system in order to appear poor.

The American public? The American public is entertained by The Kardashians and Duck Dynasty. I pay them little mind.

The majority of people are little more than programmable automatons who simply choose a tribe and then fall in line. They do not actually perceive much of anything at all as they are too busy reacting in the appropriate fashion to notice a whole lot.

Historically, the Repubs have been the Pro-Rich Party. This current Democratic Party seems to be a little too Pro-Rich. I'm a Green and see Dems and Repubs as a two headed coin. Not much difference. How do you change anything if you don't have an alternative?

Democrats have a near-200 year record of demonizing capital and those who have it. Heck, Andy Jackson practically founded the party on class warfare.
