Bernie is an unlikeable old fool with communist tendencies. There are no communists left in the world except perhaps in Cuba. I don't think Bernie is Cuban but I'm sure I could find quotes from Bernie extolling parts of Cuban government.

He may be a democrat now (well, running as one), but his history as a democratic socialist is a bit of a deal breaker for me. Still, he's currently better than Hillary and I'm sure he wouldn't try any of that socialist bullsh*t in office.

He says some good stuff and it's good stuff of substance, not just cheap pomp.

I'm not huge on either though.

You'd be surprised by how many people still hold onto stupid ideas. It's dead, but there's still some groups out there pushing that crap.

I would definitely vote for Sanders. The problem is....Sanders would never win in the GE where Hillary will. For me...the fact that the next President will likely put at least 2 people on the Supreme Court, we can't take a chance that a Republican gets into the whitehouse. Voting for Hillary virtually assures that.

There is a big difference between issues and policy. Everyone should have access to education is an issue. Paying for it is policy and that's when Sanders leaves earths orbit.

Sanders, without question. There are so many reasons to not support Hillary. I like Bernie, even though I'll never vote for him.

    The CBS/NYT poll found that:

    – 80% of Republicans believe that money has too much influence in our politics.

    – 54% believed that most of the time candidates directly help those who gave money to them.

    – 81% of Republicans felt that the campaign finance system needed fundamental changes (45%) or a complete rebuild (36%).

    – 64% are pessimistic that changes will be made to reform the campaign finance system.

    – 71% want to limit the amount that individuals can give to campaigns.

    – 73% felt that super PAC spending should be limited by law.

    – 76% thought that superPACs should be required to disclose their donors.

All of these positions are held by Sanders, and the opinion of the majority on each question is the exact opposite of the reasoning used by the majority of the Supreme Court in the Citizens United decision.

    Clinton, easily.

Many Republican candidates would agree on many of these issues. Again, they are issues. Policy is quite different and that's where Bernie fails. Bernie would tax the living daylights out of us so the government could give things away. We are taxed enough and we can't afford Bernie's ideas.

Semantics. Bernie has suggested Wall Street and the 1% to pay for policies on these issues. Which the people polled above would support.

Contrary to Republican dogma, polls show that the American people strongly support higher taxes to reduce the deficit and improve income inequality. Following are 19 different polls since the first of the year that say so.
