I can't tell you who I like but I can tell you who is not acceptable. As much as I admire Ben Carson, who I would probably vote for, I doubt he is ready to lead the nation without dipping into the established Republican power brokers. That makes him vulnerable to agendas that are not his own. Graham, Huckabee and Santorum are at the bottom of my list. Graham and Huckabee are slightly above Hillary. Santorum slightly above them.

My dark horses are Fiorino and Trump. Neither have a shot buy I think both are uniquely qualified.

My favorite is Walker. He's no nonsense, make a plan, execute the plan follow through kind of executive. The rest of the pack is acceptable although I am concerned about a Bush dynasty.

who i will not vote for

    bush
    christie
    perry
    cruz
    graham
    huckabee
    santorum
    fiorino
    trump

    my favorite is walker
    my second favorite is paul

if neither of those gets the nod, it depends on who does

i may vote third party or independent in that case

i dont think this country can survive another bush or another clinton.....just my two cents

Of those listed, I'd go Paul, Christie, and then bang my head against a wall.

Right now, Walker is probably the one I'm most likely to lean to....but it's too early at this point.

My lean early on is Walker simply because of what he has accomplished as governor. But that could change. I'm looking forward to the debates especially on the subject of foreign affairs.

Of those four only one has a decent shot at becoming the nominee. Why did you make such a limited poll?

Re: The Candidate for the Republicans

I like Pataki, Jeb, Graham, and Rubio in that order. I'm skeptical about Walker as I suspect he is more radical than he appears to be and wouldn't be shocked if he made a hard turn towards becoming a social conservative firebrand during the primary season, not to mention I haven't heard much positive from him when it comes to immigration. I don't think I could ever vote for Rand Paul, and if he was the nominee I'd probably vote for Clinton. After that there aren't really any serious candidates.*

*I know Pataki isn't a serious candidate. He's just closer to my ideal candidate which means my practical default is probably Jeb.

    Good morning, Vesper.

If Kasich gets in the race, would that make a difference to you? The reason I ask is because whoever gets the nod will have to carry both Ohio and Florida to even have a chance of becoming POTUS. I don't have a problem at all with Walker - I like what he has done and I would vote for him. I also like what Kasich has accomplished for our State, too.
