    It's not a requirement of the job. I'm not sure if today's America would ever elect a bachelor, but having a spouse is not a requirement.

    Same thing he did as President? Only he would have a lot more free time since he wouldn't have to BE President at the same time.

    I don't think it's a need at all.

    I do think it's interesting that no ones making a fuss over the matter that the first gay presidential candidate to run and has a chance of winning is a republican.
