My guess is because he has lots of friends on the internet. IOW: The fix is in.

I gave W a vote. He fixed the dot com bubble, was given a unique challenge with 9/11, tried to get congress to address the issue with social security and fannie and freddie before the realestate bubble but got no help from congress and screwed up in Iraq but was an exemplary Commander in Chief.

I also voted for Nixon who got us out of Vietnam, started Osha and the EPC. He was effective in working with congress and had the good sense to leave then his ethics were challenged.

Our government has survived the Civil War, 2 world wars and the assassination of several Presidents. I'm sure that it will survive anything that I post on the internet.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

    1) Kennedy was President 52 years ago. All votes for him are automatically invalid.

    3) Why are you asking for "best"... singular, exclusive... then wanting five votes? Hardly consistent.
Roger Rabbit: Yeah. Check the probate. Why, my Uncle Thumper had a problem with HIS probate, and he had to take these big pills, and drink lots of water.

Eddie Valiant: Not prostate, you idiot, PROBATE!

    It's kind of complicated.

You can start learning about it here: Nixon Shock - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I feel that Nixon did what he had to do at the time.
