The sad reality is 1/2 the people in this country don't vote. I have talked to a lot of them and the consensuses is both parties are corrupt and they have better things to do than waste their time choosing between the lesser of 2 evils. I have spent a lot of time over the years trying to get them to vote with no success.

You know the time is right to take control, we gotta take offense against the status quo

I started out this election season with Ted Cruz as my favorite and I have not seen nor heard anything which has caused me to question that choice,

He is the smartest man in any room.

He is bold and courageous and does not back down from his conservative principled stands.

He is one hell of a debater, (you'll notice I did NOT call him a master debater).

    He is very accomplished.

He has a terrific personal & family narrative as a Latino American.

He, almost single handedly brought to America's attention the evil behind ACA and withstood the slings and arrows from both sides of the political divide to do what was right for America to stop Obamacare from being rammed down our throats without our knowing what bile it contained. And as time goes on the evils he warned us about will start becoming increasing easy for US to see...but he saw it years before we could and he warned us as best as he could, even being blamed for the govt. shutdown which Thomas Sowell categorically denies was the fault of Cruz's opposition to it with his now famous and much mocked filibuster.

He not only says he stands with Israel he PROVES it.

    He is a leader.

And he is Conservative to his core.

The most highly respected former Fortune 500 CEO in America, Jack Walsh is a huge Ted Cruz fan. And even the ultra liberal Alan Derhsowitz called Cruz the smartest of all his past law school students.

He is very well liked by those who know him and those who have gone against him have mostly regretted the encounter as he left their arguments in tatters or hurt their feelings after he roundly defeated them but always in a gentlemanly way.

I think less of Rand Paul.

His filibuster to stop the renewal of the Patriot Act was seen as political grandstanding. And I wonder how, when there are absolutely two valid sides to that issue, privacy vs security, he could jump onto the privacy side with both feet without seeming to give the very valid security considerations much of a nod?

Cruz's answer to this was the crafting and co-sponsoring of the USA Security Act which is the best possible compromise and which passed in the Senate by an overwhelming margin which showed that he could work well with members on both sides of the aisle to get things done when he is in the Oval office.
And in a tight race the difference between candidates can sometimes boil down to very small indicators.

And I saw something in a Fox News interview with Megyn Kelly and Ted Cruz where they showed some stock footage of Rand Paul as the two were discussing the 2016 race and when I saw Rand Paul quickly turn his wife around as she came to embrace him after a warm introductiomn at some event or venue as if to say, stop being human and showing me your genuine love in this exciting moment, your job is to help me win this race. Now turn around and let the photographers ghet some b=nice shots of us in the obligatory candidate and wife model.

    Hmph.

    Not great to see.

    yes, indubitably.....
This is an administration that seems bound and determine to violate every single one of our bill of rights. I don’t know that they have yet violated the Third Amendment, but I expect them to start quartering soldiers in peoples’ homes soon.
