    STOP MAKING ME FEEL OLD!!!!!

Clinton was mine for when I started to actually come to grasp a bit of it. I was "aware" of it under GWHB, but generaly just hating riding home from the skating rink after school with my dad who was listening to boring talk radio instead of the pop statoin

Clinton was the President in middle school as they were doing the "kid news" type stuff before home room. He was the one in office as I began to get a mild understanding of american politics. The lewinski issue happened right in my early teen years. He was the guy in office (But heading out) when I had my US Politics class in high school. It'd definitely be Clinton.

Yes, I wonder why he didn't think of trading arms for hostages while he was still in power?

He's the one who basically encouraged the taking of hostages on a large scale as an efficient and fairly risk-free strategy.

Bush II, probably around the 2004-ish elections, when I actually grasped some knowledge of politics. Before that the only things I really remember related to politics was a mock election in 1996 at school, which I voted Dole, probably due to the name (as I had no idea who the hell either were). Also remember hearing a little bit about the Lewinsky scandal.

I am not a Jimmy Carter fan .. but , one must admire his humanity .. In order for a man to be a successful politician, particularly on the world stage, he must be a bit of a bastard .. There are too many who use an "evil rulebook" .. here and abroad ..
Yes, he is a great humanitarian, but at the same time, the worst of presidents.

Or he could have supported the Shah when it would have made a difference like all the presidents before going back to JFK. That alone would have made our current problems in the ME almost nil. Instead, he went the other way throughout his presidency.
