Think about what you're saying here. If the rich have the means to take advantage of the tax code, how are they being manipulated by that which helps them prosper?
Where do I write that the government is manipulating the rich. Can you read English?

Yea i loved the fact that he gave 3 Million Mexicans amnesty since i am part Latino, THAT MEANS MILLIONS MORE OF LATINO DEMOCRATIC VOTERS!! LOL!!..

Rather have them then those old white fogy's who vote for the Repugs, and the Tea Maggots..

Thats really the only thing i liked about Reagan, the fact that he flooded the country with Hispanics, which turned California blue forever..

Wasn't Reagan the President that supported Saddam when he was gassing the Kurds. Wasn't he the Prseident that also sold arms to Iran. Do people still want someone like him for President?

Regan was a gun banner and that makes him a piece of **** to my eyes.

heh, that's another strike against "Mr. Conservative".

For a guy who most conservatives look up to as the "model conservative", it's amazing how many un-conservative things he did.

Most of Regan's 'glory' is simply due to how his presidency contrasted against the backdrop of Carter.

Re: Is Ronald Reagan the best President all time?

Reagan had the best Presidential personality of those who have come along in my lifetime. However, when he eliminated the top tax brackets, from 93 per cent down to about 35 per cent, in the name of tax "simplification" (this was before anyone thought to use the term 'class warfare'), he began an era that continues through the present. His actions have greatly widened a gap between the ultra-rich and everyone else. It will take another Teddy Roosevelt to reverse Reagan's success.

It's been awhile since I've seen that chart, but if I remember correctly it was proven to be misleading. What it is measuring is the amount of increase in spending, not any perceived thriftiness. Considering that spending was already absurdly high when Obama took office means that anything other than negative numbers puts him right in with all the others. So no, while he didn't increase spending all that much, he kept it there... which is NOT something that should be celebrated.
