I don't consider the cluster**** that Cheney and Rummy created to be hilarious--do you?
You bet I'm bitter--with several personal RL stories.
The GOP loves to phony wrap themselves in the Flag and then pretend they're all about the 50,000 Wounded Warriors they created .

No, but it's not a war crime. Hysterics won't change that.

For his generation, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld would be near the top of my list of folks I'd want on my side.

Maybe Cheney should talk about the 22 Veterans still committing suicide every day from the disastrous war the coward created
You know, the coward who ran from war when he had his chance--thereby never understanding what his choices would mean?

No, but it's not a war crime. Hysterics won't change that.

There's nothing hysterical about how little discussion of PTSD there is--Cheney's disease.
Just feed them psychotropic meds--alcohol--drugs--cigs--the whole drug ****in cocktail.
Feeling like half a man--no job--no transition to civilian life--the GOP will never get a free pass to wash the blood off their hands .

I say that the man was more wrong than not about both the Soviets and the Middle East and you're wanting to have an argument with me about the virtues of the last Iraq War.

Keep having this argument with yourself, though. Excellent theater.

YER the one pointing out his virtues.
What did you expect ?

Yeah, his skills as a bureaucratic in-fighter. I think the same about Rahm Emmanuel.

Unless you're a billionaire or in the oil business, Cheney never protected your interests.

When has the US not been in the oil business using our military to protect our supply? Or are you just a ranting idealist that whines about this unfair world with meanies like Cheney...

Since J.E.B. is shamelessly mocking Obama for implying he's making it seem as if the Bush/Cheney dead 4,500 soldiers were lost for nothing.
Looks like Lee Atwater paid J.E.B. a visit from Hell this past weekend .

Yes that is annoying using our heroes for political points. Nothing will change as long as the world runs on oil though.

I think he'll look terrible in orange.

I agree with you that GWB screwed that up.
Good thing DEMs in Congress helped him get it straightened out, don't you think?

Unlike the egregious bull**** we've seen from the GOP on PPACA as well .

the Obama administration is a major screw up

I don't have any thoughts on Manzanar and I don't plan on spending any time thinking about a place that went out of business a long time ago.

I'll leave thinking about that place to time-wasters like you.
Do you just have the one set of partisan blinders, or different ones so you can coordinate with your outfit?

That's when Cheney "deficits don't matter" started planning Iraq-2--yes.

Remember the secret energy committee "shotgun" cheney also started ? :lamo
Okay, so history does begin in 2001 for you. No idea what an energy committee has to do with anything, so it's probably just another of your random regurgitations.

Ford also pardoned Nixon, headed the Warren commission and put a federal income tax on Veteran's pensions.

Reagan didn't think much of him either, considering how little Ronnie campaigned for him in 1976--our 200th anniversary.
It was clear to Reagan that in order to become President, Ford had to lose .
Pardoning Nixon was the right thing to do for the country, albeit not necessarily right individually.

The other two I have no opinion. (Was actually unaware of the veteran pension thing.)

My opinion of Reagan has fallen in recent decades, so that's not necessarily a slam against Ford in my book. (I believe Reagan's actions, or lack of, were actually geared toward his own selfish ends, and had little to nothing to do with Ford.)

ETA: Besides, I challenge you to name the PERFECT political person.

If you want to see someone with partisan blinders, take a look in a mirror.

"Better days are coming." ~ But not for today's out of touch, running out of time, GOP.

if you understand the tremendous amount of power that the federal government grabbed then you'd understand

If you understood history, you'd know that there would have been a communist revolution in this country if the federal government hadn't grabbed so much power.

What do you mean "our" supply? If it's not in US territory, it's not ours.

So you're an idealist if you want to punish a criminal? I smell a hypocrite somewhere...

So just the one set, then.

I believe in God, and I believe there is a hell. So I know someday Dick Cheney will be where he belongs, burning in hell.

Cheney is one of the most evil, and despicable person in the history of the US.

It is "our" supply. Like it or not, and I'm sure you don't, we need oil, lots of it and have over decades and decades set up infrastructure in the region so that we have a place to BUY it from.

No, you're a moron if you want to punish someone who is only a criminal in your own biased delusions.

If we have to buy it, it's obviously someone else's supply before it becomes ours. Whether you like it or not, as I'm sure you don't.

I want to punish any criminal who is convicted. You're a moron if you desire anything else.

Is the worst thing that can happen to somebody, being waterboarded?

Is that worse than death?

Personally, I would much rather be water-boarded than killed by a drone.
The uproar and demonization of Cheney seems pretty hypocritical and partisan to me considering the current POTUS and his actions.

Well it seems that getting waterboarded is the worst thing that can happen to you in life, even including getting killed.

Some people have their priorities really screwed up.

If waterboarding really isn't so bad, I'll be happy to put that idea to the test by trying it on Cheney and George W. They're supposed to be tough guys, right?
