Since you were wrong on 1998;
as you attributed that number to me;
you ignore my post about what I actually said--2001;
and just discuss words like YER instead of my post and dickless chickenhawk .

:lol:

So no one ever talked about attacking Saddam or regime before 2001? History starts that year, is that what you're telling me?

Especially when Rummy was bowing to Saddam and Reagan was selling arms to both sides during that eight-year war.
This would be the MIC Eisenhower warned us of .

another one with lots of hate. its amazing how Popular Saddam was with the American left

That's when Cheney "deficits don't matter" started planning Iraq-2--yes.

Remember the secret energy committee "shotgun" cheney also started ? :lamo

Mr Cheney is an SOB that our country needed at the time...bottom line.
Would be nice to have him back to help protect our interests versus this clown admin we have now..

Since J.E.B. is shamelessly mocking Obama for implying he's making it seem as if the Bush/Cheney dead 4,500 soldiers were lost for nothing.
Looks like Lee Atwater paid J.E.B. a visit from Hell this past weekend .

FDR has been dead and buried for quite a while.

He didn't order anyone waterboarded in any case.

Is the worst thing that can happen to somebody, being waterboarded?

Is that worse than death?

you ought to do it yourself, we can read how their bodyguards shot you down when you tried to kill W or Mr. Cheney.

Uh. Dude. That's called assassination attempts. I think I made it clear that I want justice via the legal means. Not assassinations.

well then you are going to spend the rest of your life disappointed.

So you agree that W and Cheney are criminals. There may be hope for you yet. :cool:

I agree that those with BDS will never let their hate go

I am mad that Bush did lots of stupid things

like the drug benefit expansion

but the real criminals in the oval office were the FDR regime-most of our problems are due to their rape of the constitution

So does that mean you and your like-minded brethren will stop mentioning Cheney after he's gone? Somehow I doubt that very much.

BTW,
what are your thoughts on Manzanar
since you seem to be a big FDR defender.

I don't have any thoughts on Manzanar and I don't plan on spending any time thinking about a place that went out of business a long time ago.

I'll leave thinking about that place to time-wasters like you.

Nothing

Most of our problems are due to things that happened 80 years ago?

Well, I guess that's slightly better than claiming that most of our problems are due to the crucifixion of Jesus. . . :screwy

if you understand the tremendous amount of power that the federal government grabbed then you'd understand

Jerry Ford thought very highly of him, and I think highly of Jerry Ford, but Ford and I depart where Cheney is concerned.

Looking back at his career, I would say he was more wrong than not about his gut instincts about the Soviet Union and the Middle East after 9/11. That being said, one hell of a Republican soldier and an inside man. I wouldn't ever want to be on the other side of the table.

I agree with you that GWB screwed that up.
Good thing DEMs in Congress helped him get it straightened out, don't you think?

Unlike the egregious bull**** we've seen from the GOP on PPACA as well .

Republican Soldier??
Odd you would use the word "soldier" for Dick when Cheney couldn't be bothered with that "soldier" thing five times--his words .

Say that as often as you want, but there's very few men I'd want on my side to get something done. For his generation, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld would be near the top of my list of folks I'd want on my side.

Jerry Ford thought very highly of him, and I think highly of Jerry Ford, but Ford and I depart where Cheney is concerned.

Ford also pardoned Nixon, headed the Warren commission and put a federal income tax on Veteran's pensions.

Reagan didn't think much of him either, considering how little Ronnie campaigned for him in 1976--our 200th anniversary.
It was clear to Reagan that in order to become President, Ford had to lose .

Goodness liberals are still chomping at the bit about that war criminal nonsense. How hilarious. Some day they'll learn that as much as they despise him and as much as he was wrong, they don't have cause to do anything to him.

Especially when both were involved in selling weapons to both Iran and Iraq during their eight-year war.
Eisenhower warned us of these MICs.
I doubt if you'll admit that the coward Cheney along with Rummy started rewriting history before GWB's time was over.

Foreign policy is about meeting the needs of the time, not about being morally superior.
Countering Iran via Iraq was a good move for the time.

I don't consider the cluster**** that Cheney and Rummy created to be hilarious--do you?
You bet I'm bitter--with several personal RL stories.
The GOP loves to phony wrap themselves in the Flag and then pretend they're all about the 50,000 Wounded Warriors they created .
