On Scale 1-10 How Badly Has George Stephanopoulos Been Hurt?

How much was he hurt?

Shakespeare wrote an entire play about this - MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING. GS does not give up his right as a citizen and an American to give his money to whom he wishes to give it and I se precious little anger about this.

I don't think people expect GS to be something he is not. I think the issue is ABC thinking they can present a well known partisan as an impartial journalist. The money thing is really rather unimportant.

GS should never be allowed to interrogate, er, do interviews, involving political people or issues, unless it's just puff pieces with like minded politicos.

It was ridiculed because it did nothing.

LOL You make no sense at all, they were saying this before the strike was lanched. Too bad you don't know the reason, maybe some day you will learn it. :lamo

Yeah I guess, if he didn't want to ever handle a debate or interview a GOP candidate again. And if he does not care that he will never been seen as a natural news caster ever again. Then "zero" would be accurate. Further he announced what a sleazeball he really is.

For not revealing he donated $75,000 to the Clinton Foundation when he interviewed Peter Schweitzer the author of Clinton Cash?

1= Little
10= Greatest

What should happen to him? Nothing, Suspension (how long) Fired How long will he be tarnished? Currently he is the co-host of Good Morning America which has the highest ratings of the three major networks. He is also the host of the Sunday morning news discussion program This Week.

Stephanopoulos, ABC have not fully disclosed Clinton ties: Schweizer

Nothing should happen to him. Disney knew who/what he was when they hired him. He might be somewhat tarnished regarding his ability to work for the Clinton campaign, attacking their opponents going forward.

He might have also hurt him with younger voters who did not know much about him working for the Clinton's in the 90's.

Perhaps the real question should be why would anyone waste their time watching ANY of the Sunday morning shows. Unless you feel that listening to an hour of talking points with no rebuttal from the talking heads is entertainment.

I think his employer, ABC, has the right to have him do what ever they want him to do. I suspect the public doesn't care what he did.

I just don't understand the outrage. He didn't donate money to Hillary Clinton or her Pac. He gave it to a charitable organization doing work in third world countries. Could he maybe have picked out an even better Charity to give money to? Probably. But should we give a ****? Nope. Everyone is acting like the Clintons take all of the money out of that charity org. and put it in their bank account when we've seen no evidence of this.

I agree to the point about ABC having him do whatever they want him to do. The credibility of their news anchors has already been well established. As to the public, I don't know if they don't care. I suspect they do care, but aren't surprised.

My comments about limiting GS to certain activities was only in the framework of attempting to regain some credibility, which ABC may not be interested in. Obviously, he should never be allowed to moderate a debate. Or at least candidates should be able to ask to have him removed.

if you are asking how much harm he did to his integrity, I would say none.

he hit rock bottom quite some time ago.

Zero. Among the other progressives masquerading as journalists he's their wet dream hero.

ABC hopes the blow-back is minimal. They signed Stephanopoulos to a 7 year $105 million deal in 2014

If the media was honest about trying to be unbiased then he would be fired.The media is not unbiased, nor does it try to be.

I'm going with zero.

Let's wait and see if he gets taken off of the air.
