I disagree with enough of her politics and actions that I couldn't vote for her. However, I do think she is tremendously intelligent and competent. She would be the strongest Republican in the field by a country mile. She'd never win of course, but the best candidate never does, so that's new.

Why do you disagree?

Why do you disagree?

Uh, which issue, dude? The reason I disagree is different on any given issue.

I suppose the broad answer would be that I disagree because she's too conservative for me, and I'm not going to vote against my own stances.

Really? I think there are some people who are more conservative and some people who are less conservative. I think the United States of America need a President who is a bit conservative.

Yes, I'm aware people have varying political positions. And...?

Well, I don't want a conservative with a history of liking her some war. I think America needs to stop digging its hole in its 20th century rut and start getting creative before it falls any further down the ranks of developed nations than it already has. I'm allowed to think that.

To the bolded. Interesting, I like that.

Well, she is very well educated, a very intelligent person, obtuse and some other big word I can't think of at the moment, but she plays the piano very well too. As presidential candidate or even as VP, yikes!

Very accomplished, no argument, but like Powell, she succumbed to Bush's (and his fringe right neo-con buddies) gratuitous war in Iraq, and that cost lives, (besides treasure) lots of them. Nope. I'm glad it's not a real issue though.

That's nice, but she carried water for the liar in chief supporting his gratuitous war in Iraq which has caused an increase in global terrorism, and made America less safe. Her party affiliation isn't the problem, her character is. No, sorry but NO. Anyway, thankfully we're just talking hypothetically, as her hat isn't in the ring.

Sure, I'd consider her. But not because she's a woman, and not because she's black. I'd consider her because she's smart and serious.

I think she'd do a great deal more for the African American community than Obama has done.

She is interested in other affairs, but would be willing to serve in an advisory capacity, I believe.

President? Not on her list of priorities.

She's repeatedly said she's not interested and also that she'd love being NFL Commissioner.

She would have the highest IQ of any president we've had for quite some time.

She would, and I personally think that she'd make a great President. Which is probably why she won't run, she's too smart to want to do it.

That's how we got Bush? I had always wondered.

Kinda relative, isn't it?

Not sure whether making presidents the point of reference is such a good idea.

Says it all for me.

Well, I appreciate the fact she is moderate and fairly independent, but I would not wish to put a person in office who shares responsibility for invading Iraq.

So I guess you won't be voting for Hillary.

I'm not particularly fond of Hillary, either.

Bill Maher might get my vote, though.

Not only that, but to this day she defends the decision.

What do you think about Condoleezza Rice as President?

Though the chances that she would run seem slim to none, I voted yes. I sure wouldn't have to hold my nose to vote for her. She is extremely well educated, bright, articulate, and competent at everything she is given responsibility to do. Condi accomplished some significant successes as Secretary of State, something Hillary cannot claim, and she has never been party to any kind of serious scandal or questionable behavior or activity. She is a class act and, should she be President, I believe she would allow a hell of a lot less damage to the country than some of her predecessors have done.

Yep.

The notion of invading an Arab country with the hopes that they will just somehow miraculously turn into us displayed an almost unimaginable combination of hubris and naivete.

It's like jogging home with a bottle of champagne in your backpack and thinking its a groovy idea to pop the cork right when you get home.

"Wull, how was I supposed to know all the bubbly would come rushing out?!"
