I have no reservations about admitting that it compounded the problem, but it's the intent and disrespect behind it that's at the heart of the issue. This is why heterosexual women consistently feel creeped out even when they are catcalled by attractive men.

Once when walking down the street a woman in a car full of other women looked out at me while the car was in motion and said, "He's fine!" and they continued driving off (they never actually stopped). It was fine for me: the comment was clearly never intended to put me under some prolonged microscope. However, if the woman had done something like what the guy did, it would have carried an extremely different vibe.

Of course. The powers that be are predominantly spineless manginas who believe that magic words like 'sexist' will kill them on the spot. Hence the 'sexist' sign.

Some women do it, sure. For the most part? Absolutely not.
It seems Russian prostitutes are not the only leaking Donald Trump has witnessed. Sad!

Yeah, you can't walk through places like NYC without people making you feel uncomfortable. You don't have to be female, just need to be walking about and you'll get barraged with a medley of people coming up and requesting stuff or following me about requesting I donate to some BS scam. Big cities suck.

I watched the video, and thought, I would not want my wife or daughter subjected to that.

The intended invasion of another person's private space is always a bad thing, but when the assailant (however you want to label him) makes it about the person (the object of the harassment), it becomes that much worse. Add to the harassment a form of sexualization and it graduates to full blown creepdom.

Is it about that specific individual or would any individual have worked, they just need to be there at that point in time? It's likely the latter, people are assholes and would go after nary anyone. Is one form of harassment innately worse or better than another if the physiological responses are the same?
