But according to a lot of feminist rhetoric, if a man speaks to you at all, it must be bad because it's a man. This absurd man-hating nonsense is rampant.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

I think the poll numbers pretty much speak for themselves.

No joke. I won't name names, but I actually had one of the more hardline feminists on here tell me that I was guilty of "sexual harassment" once, just because - in the past - I admitted to approaching a woman I didn't personally know, but thought was superficially attractive, with quasi sexual intent.

I even explained the context to her - I was out with my friends bar hopping, saw a gorgeous girl with her friends standing on the street doing the same thing we were, politely introduced myself, complimented her appearance, and asked for her number. I ultimately got rejected (hardly my smoothest moment, if we're being honest lol ), but I didn't make an ass out of myself over it. I simply thanked her for her time and politely excused myself.

It didn't make any difference as far as the feminist was concerned. She still told me I was a sexist pig for simply approaching, and said I was guilty of "oppressing the wimminz."

It honestly seems like you just can't win with them, sometimes.

I am somewhat piqued that no female has claimed to not have been catcalled. Guess it happens more than we think?
No men are anywhere, and Im allowed to go in, because Im the owner of the pageant and therefore Im inspecting it, Trump said... Is everyone OK? You know, theyre standing there with no clothes. Is everybody OK? And you see these incredible looking women, and so I sort of get away with things like that.

I tell you, the Good Reverend gets better "Cat calls" than that!
The other day I witnessed something at work. A woman (who I do not know) was walking to the building in front of me and someone she knew started saying hello from about 20 yards away. As he approached he told her how great she looked after having a baby, saying her shape was as nice as ever. I had a feeling she felt awkward about it, and as she let me into the building, she muttered to me "I need to take a shower."

I don't blame her. Do you, or do you think he was being nice while she was over-sensitive?

And the ironies of all ironies, it appears that you have some sort of issue with women.

I don't see anything wrong with what you did there and how you handled it.

    Re: Cat Calling

None of the answers are really accurate for me. I don't think women in general love it, though some probably do. I don't think women who don't like it are necessarily ugly or jealous, though some probably are. I do mind if my friends do it, because it's impolite. But other people doing it doesn't cause me any shame.

Mainly, I think it's impolite, but unless it crosses over the line into stalking or harassment (which it does a couple times in the video), it's not worth getting worked up about.

    Re: Cat Calling

I think cat calling is degrading, disgusting and far from any form of acceptable social behavior. Men who do that deserve more slaps to their face or stilettos to the groin.
