Yeah sure. Hitler and Goebbels used Marxist theroy during their reign of terrorism. I see this is a complete waste of time.

Goebbels was an admitted Marxist. I know you don't know that because you lack education on these things but try to grasp it mentally from your intellectual superiors. The vast majority of Nazi ideologues were Marxist before they changed to National Socialism.

The Marxist interpretation of the black experience in America has always had difficulty explaining various noneconomic aspects of racism and the presence of racism within the working class. With the development of post-World War II capitalism, Marxism seems unable to concede and intellectually incorporate an economics of uselessness in which large numbers of blacks are permanently unemployed. Many blacks who are also highly critical of capitalism have come to reject a class analysis which blames capitalists for the racism within the white working class. Yet, by understanding more fully the labor process within capitalism, it is possible to incorporate an explanation of working-class racism within another type of class analysis.

You must be right! Pictures on the internets are always right!!!

This is better than the time I got on the Deans List for my paper on how every feminist just needs the firm embrace of a man.

Perhaps this thread would give every university professor with mountains of rotting fruit and copies of Das Kapital in their offices something else to have manic episodes about for once.

Maybe you got on Dean Martin's list, but any academic dean who gives somebody credit for a paper on "how every feminist just needs the firm embrace of a man" isn't much of a dean.

No that's inaccurate. Your link is garbage spewed by some author besides Marx.

Both Marx and Engels were racists. Race was key to their ideology. It's one of the prime reasons Marxists such as Goebbels and other prominent Nazis as well as early Soviet ideologues took to Marxism so readily. You need to become more educated frankly. Goebbels was a Marxist as were many other Nazis.

You are going to have to back your argument up with something like evidence (NB: grainy pictures of Marx and an out-of-context quote don't count) if you are going to avoid being treated with laughing disdain.

i think ryan has a bridge he needs to get back to guarding

So were almost all europeans in those days. Oh wait, that's still the case

And plato was sexist

What does this have to do with the other 99% of marxism?

yeah when hitler was busy yelling that marx was a jew at his early beer hall speeches, they must've been reading "manifesto" backstage

I think he thinks every one is reacting defensively and he has created an uproar, not realizing the sound he is hearing is really laughter.

It must be hard to have that degree of insight when you're 14 years old. Bless!

Oh I just wanted the material out there. I could care less about any triviality beyond thread views. Social vagaries on forums interest me not.

Guy, in the 19th century most people certainly were racist, if compared to our modern standards. One of the most famous poems of the time was "White Man's Burden". You should read it sometime.

so.... will we be racist in 200 years?

So was Ronald Reagan. & the right loves him. Announced his run for Pres in Philadelphia Mississippi. Do you know what happened in Philadelphia Mississippi.

Who cares. Marx has been dead for ages and his ideas discredited. Only the most fanatical communist and the naive remember him today.

You really should be more sensitive. I thoroughly enjoy Marx's racial ideology intermixed with class struggle. It's a truly great mix and shouldn't be underwritten in who its influenced.

the post with probably the 2nd least amount of truth in this thread, congrats
