So you believe that Sally should be allowed to get away with racial discrimination in who she sells her goods or services to? Why?
“In America we have a two-party system,” a Republican congressional staffer told a visiting group of Russian legislators. “There is the stupid party. And there is the evil party. I am proud to be a member of the stupid party. Periodically, the two parties get together and do something that is both stupid and evil. This is called: bipartisanship."

Thus far it seems the answer to the last is, "no".

But I can't help but notice you didn't really answer the question? You seem to suggest it by the blog you linked - are you indeed willing to state that the State should either force Sally to sleep with white men, or punish her for her refusal to do so?
I did answer the question, you just did not like the answer.

    1) Prostitutes who work in Nevada brothels are required, by their employer, to take whichever customer asks for them

    2) Brothels are not public accommodations and therefore not subject to public accomodation laws.

    3) Brothel workers are private contractors, which means they are not public accommodations.

    4) Even if brothels where public accommodations, and even if the employer was willing to allow the workers to pick and choose, there are a number of ways using your example that they could avoid having to have sex with a race they chose not to, which would not violate public accommodation laws. Admittedly, this one is new, as I thought of it later.

    5) Based on all that and more, your slick question is a complete and total failure.

    yes.. it is.

"Attack"? You think polemics are an attack? Wow, you just supported the point I made earlier. If we were to start rounding up Christians and throwing them to the lions, THAT would be an attack. (FWIW, I would fiercely oppose doing anything like that.) But their beliefs are fair game. If they don't like it, then too bad, conservative Christians, keep your views to yourself and out of our laws, out of our politics, and off our news programming. Your leader preached that you reap what you sow. To sow discord and to claim to be the victim when you're called on it is cowardice, pure and simple.
yes, polemics are an attack.. it's part of the defnition, in fact.
are you saying that attacks must be physical in nature to be considered an attack?.. .seriously?

if one was suggest you keep your views to yourself.. out of our laws, and out of our politics and off our news programming.. what would be your reaction?
would you simply so as ordered and remian utterly silent?... of would you also be a "coward" and fight back?

The question is whether or not the State should force her to do so or punish her for not doing so. Talking about brothel shop policy does not answer the question about whether or not the State should force her to do so or punish her for refusing.

    ditto most photographers.

    Such as? What about Gender?

And I still can't help but notice that you are avoiding the issue at question - are you willing to force someone to violate themselves in that way in the name of non-discrimination, or punish them for not doing so?

    5) Based on all that and more, your slick question is a complete and total failure.
not as near as I can see. we seem to have quite a few folks who (as predicted) are refusing to vote or answer.

whay are brothels not considered public accomodations to you?

in Nevada, they are public busineses, licensed through a qualified municipality, offering entertainment services.... legally no different than a movie theater ( though obvisouly dramatically different in the type of entertainnment they offer)

You are starting to show the exact defensiveness that I was talking about earlier. Y'all love, love, love to dish it out, but the minute we call you on it, however gently,..."Oh mah gawd! It's purse-cew'shun! They's comin' and attakin' us!" Seriously, if you think that polemics are an attack, then you have some very, very thin skin.

Another thing. Are you a Christian?

Who is "you"? Myself? As an atheist, let me ask you: Out of all the atheists in the nation, how many of them have called for any government to force religious buildings closed on the grounds that they are religious? Or pushed for laws dictating what consenting adults may do in private? Or push for pseudoscience to be taught in science classes? Conservative Christians push for all of that and then some. But we are learning to stand y'all up, and well, if you don't like that, point your damn fingers at yourselves for a change.

Selling a cake to someone who is in adultery may not cause the feelings as selling a cake to a homosexual. The state should never have the right to force someone into doing something that is that far outside of what they deem acceptable. Take the case of pacifists being drafted for military service. They were given a exclusion to that service. Would you feel that it's acceptable to force a pacifist to "kill or be killed"?
    Boom. Someone gets it.

Likewise, if the prostitute refused to service a lesbian. If your business is providing sexual pleasure, surely you can't discriminate on sexual orientation grounds, can you?
the reasoning would seem to suggest no. I suppose you could then force lesbian prostitutes to have sex with men, and so on.

    Should she be?

realistically, a legal prostitute in Nevada who refuses to have sex with white men can only be described by 2 words.... dead broke.
    That's a market solution, however.
