Killing one person is murder, killing 100,000 is foreign policy
Worth noting, Democrats: President Trump will have a Pen and a Phone. #Precedent.
I'm not excited.
Her loyalty the people who ran her's and Bill's prior campaigns, proved to be a mistake in 2008. Mark Penn was her chief strategist, last time around:
Mark Penn - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaOn April 6, 2008, Penn agreed to step down as chief strategist when it was disclosed that he met with representatives of Colombia's government to help promote a free trade agreement that Clinton had opposed. He remained doing essentially a similar role until the end of the campaign.
Derp. That's the move of chief strategist entrusted with getting her into the White House?
I looked over the list of staff so far and though it seems like she's making better decisions (there are lot of Obama campaign staffers) I still think Hillary could undermine herself. She can sometimes be very politically tone deaf. In the past she has shut down or been paralyzed over difficult questions because she was over-calculating her response rather than being genuine or heck, even being adequately prepared. Hopefully a new staff can eliminate these propensities.
I can't remember specifically what she did, but in the last 6 months, on a couple of occasions, she said or did something that reminded me of why she lost to Obama.
So while I think she would be a fine president (once in office she'll stop trying so hard to make people like her and do a good job), and I would vote for her as a Democrat (I would not consider voting for anyone on the 2016 GOP field), I'm not excited.
Nice try, remember you lost both the house and the senate. The people were tired of the witch Pelosi and Dengy Harry. Remember the reason you lost both the house and the senate was because of failure. And they damn sure are tired of Obama failure of which Hilary was a part of and supported. The Pubs are going to tear her a new one for her being in support of failure. And she is a failure.Second...You talk about "Obama's rating numbers". His numbers are actuallyl substantially higher than GWB's and are on par with where Reagan was at the 6 year mark in his second term. So, don't get too excited about it. Third....you wanna talk about the house and Senate in a vacuum. You probably didn't realize that the GOP house and Senate are at the lowest approval rating in history and are again substantially lower than Obama's approval rating and the House/Senate Dem rating.
Liberals - Punish the Successful, Reward the Unsuccessful
Liberals - Tax, Borrow, Spend, and Give Free Stuff
Obama's legacy - Total Failure
1) not everyone knows what a slug she is
2) not everyone cares what a slug she is
3) she'll run on making history (1st woman president)
4) the media will help her team make a big deal about her gender and portray criticism as sexist
5) when she gets a general election opponent the media will do what they always do
I was just commenting on how lousy a candidate she is but the Clinton machine is still out there.
Better never than late.
The worst thing Hillary has going for her is the fact that the more people get to know her the less they like her.
Her popularity as a candidate is adversely affected by the more public speeches she gives and I think the Hillary campaign know this.
As far as the Libs out there that say she's a sure thing ? Two things. Her own Book tour and the 2014 Midterms.
Hillary had zero positive influence in both situations.
Amd Hillary did so AWESOME !!.....pushing that Book no one bought and that Book tour no one showed up for.
The Democrat candidates she stumped for in 2014 are now without a job and I'm sure their thinking Hillary was part of the reason why. Oh well, hindsight and all.
Next time don't let Hillary stump for you I guess.
I think you overestimate her ability to be likable by ANYONE let alone Conservatives.
There's this inversely proportional affect tied between her popularity and how many public appearances she makes
The more she talks, the less people like her. Thats going to be an issue for her.
