Then you can smell the gunpowder in the morning.
What does a smallpox-impregnated blanket smell like? I wonder.

I have Armenian people in my family.
That's all that I have to say on this topic.
you should tell! ,greek.
yes you westerner neo cons would enjoy it

I have armenian friends too .they love their country.
Because they stood against Turk aggression, it matters.
their country is Turkey :2wave:
I believe they feel otherwise.

How would you know? When was your last contact with Turkish Armenians?
Quite.Specifically Turkish ethnic Armenians? I dont know any.
I very much doubt that they are very familiar with the groundswell of opinion amongst Turkish Armenians. DI do however know many Armenians (there are many in the fire departments locally), and live in southern California which has a large Armenian enclave.
And I guess you all feel bad for the Turkish victims of the Balkan ethnic cleansings of 1913-15. Kumbaya all round, eh?We talk. I tell them stories of the Greek genocide, and they tell me about the Turkish genocide.

Would they be willing to hear about the Norman conquest also?
Asking this question because recently one of my favorite bands System of a Down is starting a tour, and they are doing it in commemoration of 100th anniversary of "The Great Crime" (the Armenian Genocide) System of a Down to Commemorate Armenian Genocide | Al Jazeera America . This sparked my interest to see what DP's opinion on the manner is.
Many countries have not recognized the Armenian Genocide. Its a topic of heated debate. The US government has not recognized it, but 44 states have.
My question to you is: Did the Ottoman Empire Commit Genocide Against the Armenians?
Why not every massacre and genocide in history? This was you can use relativism to water down the meaning of everything.
You have that arse-about-face, as per. Relativism is the insistence that one genocide is terrible and evil and something must be done to rectify things a hundred years later, while so many others are not worth mentioning, didn't really happen , or "it was a good thing".
False dichotomy.
No amount of the dance of the leftist changes the facts regarding the Armenian genocide. That said, its remarkable he stands you choose to take.
