    Lol !
Al Gore didn't win anything and his Global warming alarmist hackery has destroyed any chance of him retaining any semblance of credibility.

He won the popular vote which is no small feat.

So I guess you were voting for him until the global warming thing hit?

Gore? what are you on today? most of your posts are rants against oil companies and yet the "Inconvenient Truth" is that Gore got his $500 million payday from oil profits

The bench isn't one-deep. The Democrats have tens of interested Democratic politicians, who'd love to run for President. The reason they're nowhere to be seen right now, is that before the primary, there's a pre-primary. The pre-primary consists of all the "behind the scenes" work of lining up campaign donors, allies on the Hill and at the DNC, and the hiring of potential campaign staffers.

Hillary has squashed the pre-primary competition. Her donors and allies are that formidable, that it's dissuaded any serious Democratic candidate from even floating trial balloons. Maybe this 'email controversy' will stir up second-thoughts and siphon off the intra-party support necessary for more serious candidates; but 2016 is just not going to be a crowded, open primary on the Democratic side.

We'll see if this email thing may hold water but latest polls have hillary 35+ points ahead of all other potential candidates (Warren, Biden etc.).

Whereas on the Republican end we'll see interesting primaries, Bush and Walker within a few points of eachother holding the lead at this time.

Doesn't mean anything til we get properly started though.
The press will dump her hard for anything that has half a brain and can spew the Socialist line, reading a teleprompteur eloquently, and then they'll propagandize for the candidate like the devil... Just like they did last time when they dropped Hillary like bagged dog feces.

I think the only thing it'll take is everyone else being intimidated by the vast amounts of resources she has at her disposal and not wanting to have to raise billions of dollars to combat her. That's basically why Sanders isn't running. Hillary Clinton has been the most prominent liberal in the national news after the president for years. She has so momentum behind her already. And as much as we'd like them to grow a spine, the Democratic establishment doesn't want really progressive candidates. They want safe moderates because they're safe moderates. The more vocal liberal wing of the Democratic party doesn't run it.

Don't blame the Democrats, don't even blame the electorate. Blame the incompetent boobs in the RNC.
