Put it all back on Standard time is my preference, but at least quit this oscillation back and forth
I like having daylight late into summer evenings. It makes it feel like the days are longer, even when they aren't.

I have never truly understood the justification for DST, let alone the reason(s) for extending it. I think we should just leave the clocks at one setting all year long.

If someone needs daylight they should schedule their activity around the time the Sun is shining. Changing the time doesnt accomplish really anything, the Sun will rise when it rises, and it goes down when it goes down. It changes daily.

All that changing the time does is **** up everyone's sleeping schedules. No gained anymore daylight than they would have. Hell there are millions of people working the night shift anyways. ANd down here in sunny Southern New Mexico I do most of my outside work either early in the morning or at dusk/night, to avoid the sun.

Fewer cars would be on the roads and thus reduced gasoline consumption and other transportation costs.
I used to wait for the bus in the dark and then after school get off the bus in the dark....

Again, setting the clocks back in the winter was put in place for the rural areas and the kids in those areas who take a bus to school. Without setting the clocks back in the winter these kids would be standing in the pitch black on dark roads waiting for their bus.

    It's a safety issue.

I guess an argument can be made to leave the clocks like that all year, but then in the summer it's getting light at 4am. Kind of a waste. IDK.
