I have no issue with it either way actually. I don't have a problem with DST. The only place I've been without it is Hawaii, so it didn't matter because days and nights were close to each other. If I had to choose between the two time periods, I prefer having the longer evenings of sunlight. However, I bet there are others who would prefer having their sun up earlier in the morning, especially those with children. DST makes a good compromise between the two.

I have absolutely no problem with it.
If his own campaign does not trust him with a twitter account, how can anyone trust Donald Trump with the nuclear codes?

    This.

And yes - this question has been asked and answered multiple times here.

Some parents don't like this idea because it could have their children going to school in the dark for several months during the school year.

That happens regardless of the clocks in many cases. Perhaps schools don't need to start so damn early?

Re: Should Daylight Savings Time Be Abolished?

I voted "maybe" for the simple fact that I would not support moving the clocks "back" to "winter time" and then not ever changing the clocks again.

I want the extra hour of daylight in the evening - not the morning.

Leave the clocks where they are now, and never change them back.

Only one "intelligent" vote . a maybe .. and not mine .. Me ? DST must not be abolished ... DST's plusses outweigh the minuses ..We do have many more important things to discuss.

the kids around here go to school in the dark anyway. kids in Alaska go to school in the dark for most of the winter. i go to work in the dark and sometimes drive home in the dark for part of the year. but them a flashlight, or keep them inside while they wait for the bus.

there is no good reason to switch the clocks back. none. stop inconveniencing me and everyone else with pointless clock switching. set the clocks and leave them alone.

Re: Should Daylight Savings Time Be Abolished?

The poll question is poorly worded.

The question should be: "Should we stop changing the clocks twice a year?"
Then the responses could be yes or no, and further divided into leaving clocks in summer hours, or winter hours.

The fact that we can move time around at all suggests time is arbitrary. Hence, just pick one and leave it there.
