Netanyahu could be right or wrong, could make any kind of speech; but in a non-Israeli congress He tells Us reps what to do and how to do, calls for more wars and blood of US soldiers and people in congress applause him for 4 minutes.

When I take a look at the picture, the first thing that came to my mind is the title of this thread.

Thats the point. Republicans hate Obama so much that they're ok with this freak coming to America to tell us what to do.

I am not sure I understand, what you are getting at.

Is that the way you see it? Funny. I think it a very sovereign thing to do, for the Legislative to bring in a foreign head of government to listen to his take on a problem facing us. I think it could be a good precedent.

Probably because it was a republican controlled congress, attempting to humiliate a democratic president. What hypocrisy. You'd never put up with a democratically controlled congress seeking foreign answers to US foreign policy.

Yeah, the Jews control the U.S.

What do I care as an American if Israeli Jews kill primordial Islamic Arabs and primordial Islamic Persians?

Let's be honest here, if we're indeed being honest here to begin with. Islam and its countries are backwards and hopeless. Israel is Western by comparison. Do I, as an American, really truly care if Western secular Israel kills my enemy and upsets it? No. I don't. Truth be told I like it that they do. That part of the world is a gutter anyways and is meaningless beyond its resources.

Let's go over a few facts from a Westerners point of view:

-Arabs and the other racial adherents of Islam breed too much simply put. They need to be thinned out and even THEY acknowledge this and is why they so callously kill each other in the region. Have you seen how the Saudis and Iranians simply throw tens of thousands of young men willingly to the slaughter? Do you think they care, truly, as they get themselves pleasured by imported Russian blondes in their sanctums? Something tells me no.

-Every country in the Middle East is doomed thanks to primordial Islam. Be it in 5 years or 200 years, all those countries will suffer and wallow in backwardness thanks to Islam.

-Israel, to me, is like the viscous dog you keep in your conquered enemies lands to keep them in line and focused on it. If it wasn't Israel it'd be America (and in some places is) that they choose to hate. They're backwards. A backwards, dangerous society and people need a mean dog to keep them in place.

I don't think Congress needs the President's permission to invite a head of state. But we gave him that platform two weeks before he is up for re-election and that is just not something we typically do. Why weren't his opponents invited to speak? It just doesn't set right with me. And the over-the-top welcoming was a little embarrassing.

When it comes to Iran's nuclear program Netanyahu has cried wolf so many times I just can't take him seriously anymore.

First time Ive seen a foreigner get so many standing ovations from US Congressmen in defiance of the president. Its disturbing just how much influence Isreal has over our country when so many of our politicians bow down to Bibi as if he was the President rather than Obama.

You could undermine it as much as you like; but It is more than that; There is always a way to give the message, but this is the worst way to do it.

Netanyahu doesn't like Muslims. Americans don't like Muslims. Obama respects Muslims, probably because he lived in Indonesia, which makes him bad.

Therefore Netanyahu > Obama in the minds of many.

Don't believe me? Here's your evidence:

Where is Obama mentioned in that quote?

Why not? I am admittedly not very happy with Obama's performance, but I am not overly interested in the party that happens to be in place. The two parties have politicians that differ so widely on almost every topic within the parties, that it seems more a question of the candidate than the organization.

But even if it were a question of party preferences, the invitation by the Legislative would not be a question of US sovereignty as much as constitutional precedent.

Don't know that I'd disagree with you on that. As to this precedence, it's bad, and hopefully we won't see a democratic tit for tat.

Tit for tat would not be in our interest. You are right.

I totally agree. Patronizing even. And it's not that the executive branch has to give permission, but the whole thing is an embarrassment. But such is GOP hatred for the president, they felt it was worth it.

I think that any country that receives substantial US aid should require their head of government to make a speech before Congress each year.

Yes, thanking the US for the help, why not. Criticizing the presidents foreign policy in real time, **** no. We shouldn't send the next scheduled check.

Just curious why everyone keeps bringing up the election in Israel. What does it have to do with Boehner inviting him to speak before Congress? And why would his opponents be invited to speak? It wasn't a debate forum. It wasn't about the elections.

blah blah racist bullcrap

I am thinking of a certain Lily Allen song in response to your hate speech, but I'm pretty sure that the mods wouldn't be too happy about me posting it here. ;)

Greetings, tres borrachos. :2wave:

Who knows? They need to have a reason to be offended by his visit, I guess, but he was invited to come!

-No clue who that is and could care less.

-Still absolutely no reason I should care about Islamic adherents who are a good 300+years behind the West culturally.
