He sure is, I find it very difficult to take him, and people like him seriosly.

I don't know if it's a he or she, it hasn't been entered, but I agree. It makes me wonder what planet some people are from, it certainly isn't from anywhere around here.

The public does not directly make laws, we elect representatives that are supposed to do what we want them to do. Are you really unaware of how a representative democracy works?

I feel that he/she is unaware about a large number of things. Frankly, I smell hosiery.

I think we'll probably see the end of the death penalty in the US...before a new international government takes over and reinstates it.

I think rapists, human traffickers and people who intentionally inflict permanant disabilities on others should be eligible for the death penalty even if nobody died. One of my biggest problems with it its it takes so long to be carried out.

With all of the time and caution we take, all of the appeals, we still **** up and kill innocent men far too often. I can't support taking those precautions away.

I get that and for a long time I was a proponent of capital punishment. However, I have since changed my mind. I keep coming back to the old saying that it's better to let 10 guilty people go then to incarcerate 1 innocent one. The same should apply to the death penalty. Killing one innocent should be enough to scrap the system. Also, I now feel that decades in a tiny cell does more pain to the inmate than the easy way out.

Do you realize how much of a joke you are. I hope tomarow you are going to tell us that you were just kidding. but you are still; sadly going to be an whining, illogical, little b****.
I reported you.

I would support the death penalty for the rape of a child under the age of ten years old. I would myself be willing to pull the switch and do so with a smile upon my face.

Wow, so basically you're a murderer.

I say yes, especially with a Republican controlled Congress and Senate. And Obama supports the death penalty so he would sign a bill like this into law. Also the US is much more conservative than it was 20 years ago. We're going backward, not forward.

So tell me why you think conservatives, would want to exexute non-murders.

oh boo-who, I am going to go into a corner and cry now. You big bully.

Ha jokes on you I don't give a f***.
I have a feeling that you do give a really big f***.

Explain in detail how they are with actual evidence.
They don't care about people. We have no universal healthcare because of them. People die each year in this country because they have no health insurance. So there's your actual evidence for you.

I have a big box of healthcare here I'm hoarding. I'm starting on another box just now, all with your inspiring thoughts in mind.

Well first off 'Universal Health Care' does not work. Secondly that is not anywhere close to relevent to this thread. Third provide an to show me that people die from not having insurance. We do care about people, we also care about the majority of population that can afford insurance, and the government should not have to tax people even more for sum bumm to get 'free' insurance.

If only we had a Governmet run Healthcare system.

If we did no one would be left out, ignored and left to die because they could not receive treatment.

The VA is a great example of how Government run healthcare meets the needs of all its patients. No one is forgetten, mistreated or neglected.

Liberals are blinded by their loyalty to a corrupt ideology. Too STILL push for Single payer after the VA let thousands of VETERANS suffer and die without treatment just shows they live in a alternative reality on a daily basis.

Do you think the US will ever execute someone for a crime that does not involve loss of life. Such as petty theft, tax evasion, etc.

I kind of wish they would.

I'm of the opinion that Kennedy v Louisiana was a horrible decision and I unabashedly advocate the death penalty for baby rapers.

No, you're wrong. The Republican controlled Congress and Senate will expand the death penalty to non violent crimes. And Obama will sign it into law.

Wait, what's with the goalpost realignment?

Your original question was about the death penalty for some crimes that didn't involve the loss of life and now you're talking about non-violent crimes. Which one do you want to discuss?

Were you serious about Republicans advocating for the death penalty for tax evasion? Is that really what you wanted to discuss? OK. Fine. As far as I'm concerned we have a whole hell of a lot more to fear from DEMOCRATS wanting to kill people for not paying taxes than we do from Republicans. After all, it's Democrats that always want more and more taxes and demonize "the 1%".
