    Cite needed.
I have CDO, it's like OCD but the letters are in alphabetical order like they should be.

I can only answer the question you actually ask, which I did. They do execute people for crimes not involving the loss of life. If that's not the question you want answered, ask a better question.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

What, the Chinese are unable to ask good questions or something?

Wtf!! Firstly, there are those that care about the death penalty, and its potential for injustice. There are those who do not support the death penalty at all, there are those who support a very limited use of it, and those that think it should be used more. But as one poster pointed out, public support for it is waning. There is a group of attorneys, who's name escapes me at the moment, which has been working, I think basically pro-bono, that since the advent of DNA science have brought for retrial, cases that have resulted in the reversal of many rulings, and the release of prisoners, possibly some death row prisoners. And there's no end to advocacy groups lobbying against the death penalty and stricter regulations for its use. So when you say "no one seems to care", you poke holes in your own argument, way too broad a brush. There is also by-partisan legislation in the works right now for prison reform.
Killing one person is murder, killing 100,000 is foreign policy

But the public does not make laws. We have no say. Law makers make the laws.

No, it'll never happen. As much as we all squeal like greedy little piggies for our share of the carnage, there's no political support on any level for expanding the death penalty as a penalty for any crimes other than 1st degree murder and treason.

The electorate would not stand for an elected offical trying to make petty laws have the death penalty. And quite frankly no official in Congress would want petty crimes have the death penelty.
Also you do realize that we do have a say, every two years right, and every day in between. Please think before you post next time.

We have zero say! Only rich people get to run for politics. How does that give us a say. When a truck driver is elected President then we'll actually have a discussion, but until then we are powerless.
