Whether intended or not, dredging up the Crusades relative to terrorism and ISIS was something ISIS could use since they've been using the Crusades for their own recruitment purposes.
Sure, if you ignore everything else. Can ISIS use him calling them "barbaric" for recruitment, do you think?

No. I'm not mad at anything. It's an observation. He & his entire team stressed that a video inspired the Benghazi attack.
In his comments at the time he included the phrase "act of terror".
After a couple of weeks of blaming the video they began saying he blamed terrorism and he even said so in his debate with Romney.
I assume you caught that at the time.
It was typical of Obama.

Why do you think those two things are mutually exclusive?

The person in the video isn't a relative of mine, and as I said in my post, I don't look at pictures or videos of these sorts of things anyway.

Why are you asking me about what the man's family members would feel about this? I don't have any idea.

How would YOU feel??? Say your husband got hit by a train and it was caught on video surveillance. Say CNN publishes the video on their website... what would you do?

You object to knowing the depth of terror in the enemy?

Or is Fox and the Republican party your enemy?

Seriously, get a ****ing grip . You need to see the vid of a man burning to a crisp to get the gist that these people are evil?

Yet here you are questioning my integrity all the while not questioning the motive of why FoxNews has decided to promote such garbage. Think, for ****'s sake.

Considering the person in question was a military captive, I'd appreciate they had the balls to let friends see how he died, and what the things who created the video are all about.

If that is your opinion, then you're a sick bastard. If it were a relative or friend of mine, I'd be devastated and disgusted that it was there for all to see.

What happened after that video was initially revealed?

Now what the **** are you talking about.

Where did i say they are not evil? YOU are the one questioning a news organization on a topic you know absolutely nothing about and bitching that they even ran it.

You are the one advocating hiding this evil to protect your slime head president. Now how about you shove the personal insults where the sun don't shine and accept the fact your little tin dog blew it.

How anyone with two brain cells can get that I don't see Islamic terror as evil is beyond reason. It's you and Obama wanting to bury the evil

crusades my ass

LOL. Then I guess I'm a sick bastard. Don't worry, there are hero's out in the world who will protect you from the things that want to hurt you.

They will use what will benefit them. Namely "crusades".

Because there's no evidence the video had anything to do with the attack and there never was. The video excuse was a concoction.

There was a jubilant celebration in the ISIS camps. Fox handed them a success beyond their hopes..

You must have missed the actual news. ISIS was roundly condemned by Muslim leaders around the globe. As a propoganda tool they took a great big dump on their own head. Exposing them for what they are did not gain them recruiting rewards...it turned the world against them. You really didnt know that or are you just such a pathetic little twitch that all that matters to you is your inane hatred of a news channel?

wait.. you think FOX put this put there to advertise for ISIS?.. seriously?

wow... that's umm.... interesting.

No, and I have never said such a thing so stop jumping to conclusions.

it doesn't bother me either way..... so neither good nor bad.

well, I probably lean a bit more towards "good" .. simply because i think people need to see **** that goes on in the world without it being censored by a bunch of nannies.

I would bet they would be happy with you. They want the west to be pissed. outraged

Saying they burned the pilot alive and showing what that actually means in my opinion justified putting the video online. It was a terrible way to be executed - and the video shows those who did it wearing their masks. The video makes it very clear who and what they really are.

O

How you got this response from my post is well beyond me. :screwy

Well let's see. Jordan retaliated, and, in turn, killed an American hostage. Amiright?

No, even if the bombing did cause the hostage's death, that hostage was "killed" by the kidnappers still the same.

And, if not, personally I suspect she'd rather be killed instantly by a bomb than her head cut off by a knife in a video shown to everyone including her family and friends.

Kidnappers are always 100% responsible for what happens to their victims/hostages - no exception.

I didn't watch the video as i refuse to watch/share IS propoganda. That's what they want us to do which is why they go to such lengths to record and document their revolting acts. Their PR strategy has been effective and elaborate for months and it’s been a key part of their massive rise to global infamy. I have no desire to help them spread their propoganda.

I absolutely support discussions relating to the threat that IS pose and the reporting and sharing of information associated with current events, everyone should be paying attention to what the current situation is, but i simply will not aid them by spreading their heinous propaganda and buoying their cause.

the west is already pissed and outraged, even without seeing the video.... are you going to now come out in opposition to even reporting on the story, or are you going to backtrack from this retarded comment?

well, I might see the point if indeed the propaganda could in any way benefit ISIS... but showing this video, especially in the western world, can't benefit them in the least.

if you were pissed about hearing the story, you aren't going to come to love them by watching he video, that's for damned sure.

I can understand not watching if one can't handle "gore" .... but the propaganda thing doesn't really make much sense at all.

What's retarded? I think FoxNews is doing ISIS work for them. ADVERTISE!!!

I think it's wrong that Fox is using their webspace to host a propaganda video and recruitment tool produced by a terror group. It is beyond ****ed up. I realize that Fox argues that that they are doing it to promote the truth, facts, and information, but if that were the case, they could at least translate the video so viewers could actually understand the purpose of the video. Fox is actually promoting fear over knowledge and facts to their non Arabic speaking audience, but for people who understand Arabic, they can follow the link and view what Isis intends as a recruitment tool.

It's irresponsible. I am not opposed to promoting knowledge in anyway. The method of doing so in this case, is highly flawed.

The way Fox is handling the video and presentation, commonsense tells me they seek to promote fear and anger and drum up support for more war. The neocon wing of the GOP is still strong after GWB, and to them, this video is war propaganda, and that's what I see going on.

I do not know about you but I do not need a video of animals lighting a man on fire to know that ISIL is evil.I am sure most people don't as well.

I agree in that I don't think seeing the whole video would change any of my hatred of this group of maggots. Just as I don't need to see a young child brutally raped to know the perp is royal piece of scum.

Another problem is that I guarantee you there are some people in this world who will get off on watching that video.
