I had the same experience. My doctor put me on birth control for endometriosis and other medical conditions. She put me on a specialty type of birth control that there is no generic for. It would could $100 a month without insurance. I didn't know what my insurance was going to cover. They initially denied coverage and suggested my doctor try something else, and she argued with them. I had to wait 24 hours for the company to approve her request. Then I was nervous picking up my script, because I thought I was going to pay a lot... but it turns out it was free.

Thanks Obama!!!!!

BTW... it's really helping me manage. I was in so much pain before. I am a very happy customer. :) :) :)

So you know what I mean. That is great! For me what I find is that there are so many government programs that do little for me. For example, I am having to pay for one of my kids tuition and books in college. There are grant programs but they say I make to much money. WOW! Could have fooled me.

In this instance, my understanding is that companies are required to cover the pills, whereas before perhaps they did not have to. What I know is that the pills had not been free. And it is my understanding that the reason they were free is because under the ACA they are required to be covered.

That's what my pharmacist told me too. Because of ACA, my birth control was free.

Can you imagine the relief I felt!!! They were going to charge me $125!!!

so someone else pays for your pills.

I was stressed out too. I have been having a difficult time with endometriosis, and I wasn't looking forward to paying nearly $100 a month for medicine that wasn't even guaranteed to work. It was just added stress on top of the stress of having endometriosis and dealing with constant pain. But I got the medication for free, and it seems to be working. I couldn't be happier. :)

He is a taxpayer.

so what? if he is getting stuff others have to pay for big deal. someone who pays 1000 bucks a year in FIT who gets full coverage is being subsidized by people like me who pay for our HC insurance completely and are paying a surcharge for Obama Care as well

What in the hell are you talking about? Hell I make over 100k a year, do you really think I don't pay taxes. Also that money comes out of my insurance premiums. Stop making up stuff..

so why are you bragging about getting stuff free then? I pay more in taxes in a quarter than you make in a year and yes, I am paying an Obama care surcharge to pay for others "Obamacare"

I don't give a damn about how much you pay in taxes. My point is that you don't pay for a damn thing for me and my kids. So stop saying that stupid s*** that you do.

So what? I have private insurance and pay over $1000 a year to the government in tax, and I got free birth control....

someone else pays for stuff you call free. but in all fairness, I have no problem funding BC for LOTS of people

how do you know?

Because I have to pay for every damn thing. That's how I know. For some reason someone thinks I make too much money to qualify for any government programs.

That said, if you want to pay my bills, I would be glad to oblige you since you appear to have enough to go around. I don't.

Don't say you pay for anything for me and my family. Stay in your little place.

you need a bit more carbon in your diet

the fact is Obamacare should have never been passed and Roberts shouldn't have tried to out clever all the other justices with his silly decision

If you have no problem funding BC, then why are you arguing? We are taxpayers, so we all subsidizing somebody, somewhere. I don't mind paying taxes and subsidizing public interests nor do I get angry or upset about it. I know my tax dollars are going to go towards all kinds of programs and causes I don't personally support, and it's also probably going to feed people that shouldn't be fed by the government, but so ****ing what. Paying taxes isn't that unjust. It's part of reality, and something all of us have to do. I simply accept that I have to pay taxes. I work and participate in society. I can only take full responsibility for myself, and I do, and as of now, I happen to benefiting from part of the ACA. That's pretty frickin sweet. I don't think it's any more criminal or unjust to other's in society than busing kids for free to their schools or having public libraries...

I don't support stuff that is clearly unconstitutional no matter what "good it does"

carbon makes steel tougher-gives it a better edge:mrgreen:

The difference is that I understand I don't need an edge. I understand that the things that I need are kindly provided for me. That's the difference.
